As a whole the documentary was very well compiled and contained many interesting and insights into the life and work of Donna Summer.

However the Sound mix was extremely poorly mixed and produced, the dialogue interview levels were all over the place, low, inaudible at moments, then louder and clearer at other times, which was really distracting throughout.

I fully understand that interviews can vary in terms of when and how there recorded. But for an HBO production to have such bad audio issues, is unforgivable IMO. I literally had to turn up and down my TV volume to clearly hear what was being said.

Generally a informative and entertaining documentary, shame about the audio/sound mix.

This is what happens when a Director gets to that point in there career when they are allowed to create absolutely anything! In Wes's case, the result is Cinematically bizarre for the sake of being bizarre, narratively boundless, aesthetically it demonstrates the directors pure ownanism. "absolute power, corrupts absolutely" and to simply call this film "Indulgent" would be a complete understatement. A jazz musician once said, "If I accidentally play a wrong note, it's doesn't matter, as I then just repeat it, people will then think I played it on purpose" Wes the jazz pianist, is playing with us. The one star I gave this film, is for the fact that Wes, at least is trying to find something new, new wrongs notes!

Don't expect to much from this film. Shrek it is certainly not, its Just a good all round kids movie. Casting is good, performances are generally solid, and the storyline was entertaining enough to keep my 7 yr focused and engaged from beginning to end.

Lastly, Thankfully the movie was free of the current usual, overtly political agenda nonsense that's been filling our screens over the past few years. Thank you Warner for having produced a film that at its heart is a simple uncomplicated kids movie that isn't out to beat the hell out of the audience by force feeding them social political agenda's that aren't appropriate in a kids film.

As a lover of the annual English Christmas ghost story tradition, I was hoping for a lot more than what was actually served up to us with this 2022 Christmas ghost story treat.

Zero atmosphere, poor casting, dull predictable cinematography which lacked subtly and imagination, the Director stomps his way through this tale with as much presence as the omnipresent smoke machine which loyally pumps away in the background throughout most of the shots in this poor visual effort of a film. Please Mr Gatiss allow someone else to take on the next Christmas ghost story installment, or unfortunately this wonderful christmas tradition will die a unremarkable death. M. R. James will never forgive you.

Firstly ignore the amateurish negative reviews made by people who seriously do not know or understand cinema, This is a great mainstream movie that satisfies on virtually all levels apart perhaps one, namely creative cinematography.

If you love story, character, plot and perfect casting. Then please check this movie out.

Wonderful performances from a perfect cast that keeps the viewer involved and connected to the characters and plot.

This is true commercial film making at its near best.

Is this film ground breaking? No.

Nor is it particularly challenging .

But what it is, Is fantastic quality entertainment from 1973.
