I was so excited to watch this show. A shallow playboy forced to look at the more important things in life whereupon he starts a journey of self growth with humor and loveable characters along the way. SOOO much potential. But no, everyone in this show turns out to be a two-faced, self-centered, amoral jerk and/or criminal right up to the final episode. I can't believe they would portray people the way they do and then expect us to root for them. I bought all five seasons so I could binge it and I had hopes they would at some point redeem themselves and they kind of do right at the very end, but by then I was utterly disgusted with them all. Never want to see this show again.

This was an embarrassment to American bakers. Some of the bakers were good amateur bakers. One was a manipulative entitled cheater (ugh), one baked to seduce women (ugh), and another cried after every bake because her attempts didn't get her more praise. They also didn't seem to get the concept of the show (did the producers not educate them??) - when Paul Hollywood gave one a handshake he thought that meant he was going home. It was painful to watch and I fast forwarded through the last 3 episodes (out of 7) to see who won. SPOILER ALERT: The entitled cheater won. Disgusting. What must the Brits think of us after watching this dreck?

Wonderfully goofy and funny

I loved this movie. It's light, fast-paced, original, goofy, heart-felt, and highly entertaining. Some of the transitions aren't at all plausible, but I found that didn't bother me (it usually does). The movie has a main theme that it actually follows and events make sense, the scenes themselves are silly, creatively funny and a joy to watch. I highly recommend this on a rainy or gloomy day - it'll cheer you right up!
