The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (2022)
From decent to awful
First episode was decent, beautiful cinematography and decent acting. As the episodes came out, I noticed that the acting was terrible, especially from the actress who plays galadriel. The cinematography is great, but that's about it. This show feels very empty and is very boring. The writing is awful and the costumes are even worse.
I won't be returning to watch season 2, this is a big stain on LOTR and I'm almost positive every fan pretends this show doesn't exist and I will now follow in that lead. JRR Tolkien must be turning in his grave, I can honestly say this is one of the worst shows I have watched in a long time.
Peaky Blinders (2013)
Great except for last season
Peaky Blinders is a great show, there's no denying that. Seasons 1-5 were great, especially season 5. It had its moments, ranging from gripping intensity to raging violence. Season 6 is boring as hell. It goes absolutely nowhere except for the last episode where something actually happens. It was quite unsatisfying, especially the part involving Sam Claflin, where there was no payoff whatsoever by the end.
1-5 are great, skip the entity of season 6 and only watch the last episode.
Dexter: New Blood: Sins of the Father (2022)
Understandable
Before I watched this episode, I saw that it had a 4.8 on IMDb, close to the finale from Dexter back in 2013. I thought it would be an absolute mess but I was wrong.
Yes, there are flaws and what not, but I don't think it ruined the show. The writing was a bit clunky, the acting was good, especially from Michael C Hall. It did feel quite rushed, we should have had 2-3 episodes more to wrap it up.
I understand why people are hating on this but personally I liked it. It is tons better than the finale we got back in 2013, I wanted Dexter to die and that's what happened.
There are mentions of a second season. Harrison is very unlikable so I think it would fail immensely. People want to see Dexter and only Dexter Morgan, not someone else. The only way it would work is for Dexter dying( or last 20 minutes of the episode) to be a dream or hallucination.
Overall I really enjoyed New Blood, despite the rushed and clunky finale.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)
Ultimate Edition
Never watched the theatrical version of this movie, watched "ultimate edition" last night and from what I saw, it was well put together and I really enjoyed it. I'm assuming the theatrical version was awful and incoherent but this one was really quite good and never boring.
I think the doomsday part and Wonder Woman was really stupid and unnecessary, it should have only been Batman and Superman.
Army of the Dead (2021)
Boring and lame
Bad cgi, boring as hell after the first 35 minutes, a huge disappointment. I expected a lot more, especially from the director.
Dexter: Remember the Monsters? (2013)
Absolutely atrocious
Everything that I didn't want was all in this final episode. Whoever wrote this last season should be fired and never be hired to write for anything ever again. I can't believe it ended this way, at least they are reviving the show to give us a better ending then whatever that was.
Spree (2020)
0 stars
One of the worst movies I have ever seen. Complete waste of time, not funny with some god awful acting. If I could give this zero stars then I would.
Dexter: The Getaway (2009)
Season 4
This season is the best of Dexter. It is tense, gripping and overall, just amazing. The ending will surprise many like it surprised me. This is one of the best seasons of any TV show I have ever watched.
