*spoiler free* The film has many faults, but pace and not being fun isn't one of them. The plot is Paper thin and the accents from Lemon & Tangerine are poor and simply not needed - it's gives it a weak Guy Ritchie take that the film never quite shakes off. But if you can look past that you do get a fun action film that doesn't take itself too seriously, does bring the odd genuine laugh and despite the large number of fight scenes, does very well to keep each set piece interesting and gripping.

It's a solid film, nowhere near perfect but very much worth a watch, even if it only ends up reminding you of a dozen or so films that have walked this path and in a far more spectacular fashion.

Boring, unfunny and pointless. If you want a fun football-based cartoon then go dig out Early Man as at least that's an enjoyable watch, but I have no idea what they are trying to achieve here or who the target audience is.

Why would you can't Weird Al Yankovic in one of the main roles in a kids movie, no child on this Earth has heard of him!

As for the film itself, it's a random mishmash of strange scenes that don't knit together, and is somehow worse than the sum of its parts. Clearly released now to cash in on "World Cup Fever" and yet still they've managed to make something that's more uncomfortable than Qatar human rights abuses.

It feels like it goes in forever, yet is only around the 80 minute mark. Woefully bad.

There are plenty who are going to hate this as say it's not part of the RE canon, and that's their call, but I've watched 3 episodes so far and it's been a really solid show; has a touch of children of men meets 28 days later and well worth a go.

Simply put, this is being down marked and is nowhere near the current score of 4. It's been more than watchable.
