Wow
2 July 2023
The acting is phenomenal. My heart hurt watching this. Powerful, emotional, REAL. Insanity. What a star studded cast giving their all. Everyone was incredible but Jamie Lee impressed the sht out of me. This, unfortunately, is a very realistic scene at many holidays and many family meals. This gives great insights into the characters as they are today. The season really has been great and this episode was at another level. My heart is still pounding after watching this the directing and producing an acting and writing was all incredible and I can't stress that enough. I'm so glad that the show has came into our screens.

Ted Lasso: Mom City (2023)

True to TD form
24 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This is a return to form episode I was expecting from the title mom city. It continues the theme of second chances. We learn Coach Beards backstory. How Ted kept up his happy cascade bec of how his mom handled things but it's obvious how much Ted has progressed in his communication from therapy. But my fav part is how Jamie's father is in rehab; proud of his son and getting better. I bet he went in after the wembly match when Jamie punched him. He likely is in a facility where he may not get access to his phone & jamies text. I also predict Ted tells Rebecca he quits to go home to his boy after the last match. Will miss this show.

Cute and v funny

Good writing. Quirky. Great lines. I'm laughing out loud. Not sure why the bad reviews - it's cause they don't get witty writing. It's like 30 rock, Mindie project, new girl humor. Highly recommend.

Succession: All the Bells Say (2021)

Yeah Tom but it's also a Shiv season!
13 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This finale had everything! Great directors cut of the perfect still images. EACH actor gave a stellar performance but I couldn't help but stare at the complex emotions Shiv was facing and she was a force. Sarah Snook deserves this Emmy! Kendall has always been my fav but they all stepped up. Logan shined like the brilliant dad/actor/master manipulator and how he was the puppet master. And the kids were in awe of his dominance. Kieran has great vibes as giving comedic relief to, supportive brother and his heartbreaking emotions in that room. Alan Ruck with his aw shucks - I'm a person too. And Tom - he learned from his new family and now he's a Roy all right. Phenomenal season and ep!

This line sums up the series -
8 December 2021
Caroline to Shiv - "Your father never saw anything he loved that he didn't wanna kick it just to see if it would still come back." This sums up the ENTIRE series. Logan is evil. The acting is beyond what we've seen on TV. This season is fkin great. Kendall is heartbreaking.

Boring but well acted

I didn't like it. I made myself watch this. I read that u have to watch past the credits and I did. I'm all about character driven stories and slow burn - but this was very dark and I just felt it overboard. This doesn't take away from the acting, cinematography.
