Undekhi (2020)
Papaji for the win
Stellar performance by Harsh Chhaya. Such conviction in his performance.
Storyline and screenplay is good. All actors have done a good job.
All the seasons are entertaining . Fast paced episodes with good background score.
Watch it for Papaji! One of the most complex and well played characters.
Season 3 ended on a cliffhanger note. Hope Season 4 is released soon with a final ending. Don't see the story growing more than another season.
Varun Badola is a good addition to the show.
Dibyendu Bhattacharya as usual on point with his role.
It's a good, one time watch. Drama, thriller and action packed.
Meenakshi Sundareshwar (2021)
Boring. Can be skipped
Good parts-
1. RHTDM rip off music
2. Sanya Malhotra
Bad parts-
1. RHTDM rip off music
2. Long, tedious and predictable
3. Not creative enough
4. Forced comedy
5. Fake reviews
6. Fake ratings.
Sardar Udham (2021)
Loved everything about it, except..
The casting for the role of Bhagat Singh was a bit off.
Amol Parashar has a hip, gen-z image which he couldn't quite shake off.
It was as though the makers have intentionally left a flaw.
The direction was fabulous and Vicky Kaushal's 'drunk speech' scene will go down in his list of iconic performances, where the one from Masaan tops it.
The movie was a good cinematic experience, commendable attention to detail and raw storytelling.
Cidade de Deus (2002)
One of my favourite movies!
Wow. You are left with an unexplained feeling after watching this movie.
It is a cinematic experience of a lifetime.
The direction, the storyline, the actors, the background music and the SCREENPLAY. Unforgettable!
Chernobyl (2019)
Could this be the decade's greatest show
To picturise a tragedy in a way that pulls you to that time, that place and moment is commendable.
A mini series that just hit you in the right places and also turns out to be a wondrous visual experience.
The Family Man (2019)
For the sheer brilliance of Manoj Bajpaye.
Wow! This actor! He is magic.
This show doesn't disappoint. It is the right everything.
You want it to just never end.
It's a delight to watch.
Sherni (2021)
Well, meh?
You waited didn't you. For a good moment, a good dialogue, for a good twist, for Vidya Balan!?, for a good ending.
Alas, you didn't get anything.
Disappointing.
X-Ray: Selected Satyajit Shorts (2021)
Aren't the showstoppers supposed to be good?
Well, it was a joy to watch the first three movies.
The actors are extra ordinary, their execution was flawless, the stories were beautiful and rare.
And that's it. If you want your good movie experience to last. STOP after the third movie.
The Last Hour (2021)
Watch if you are looking for something different.
Good one!
Not your usual mainstream content. Can be watched if you are looking for some eerie.
One of the few believable Indian shows in the thriller-supernatural genre.
Jane the Virgin (2014)
Cannot 'Binge Watch' this!
It's a good show, with pretty great actors.
But, after a while it starts to gets on your nerves.
Feels like they hadn't planned the plot and just went with the flow. Story also gets repetitive a lot of times.
The script is a huge letdown.
Feels Like Ishq (2021)
Don't waste your time.
Such content at this age? Too outdated.
Pretty boring and predictable.
Average acting.
BAD dialogues.
Not worth wasting your weekends.
Gisaengchung (2019)
The story was the King.
'The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.'
Parasite is not a simple movie, it has multiple layers and an assortment of emotional complexities. And to integrate everything and present as a tragicomedy is arduous.
But, a job very well done by director, Bong Joon-ho.
Hamid (2018)
Beautiful Screenplay, touching performances.
If you opt of of watching serious movies, you shouldn't skip Hamid.
Based on the grave situation of the disputed lands of Kashmir, the story is portrayed with such a subtle unbiasedness which is the whole beauty of it.
The performances are achingly unerring. They take you on a journey - making you feel with them, be in their shoes, yet refrain from taking sides.
Special mention for the screenplay - though it is no secret that Kashmir is heaven on Earth. Yet, it takes sheer brilliance to capture it the way it has been captured in Hamid.
Beautiful!
