Eight Crazy Nights (2002)
Okay or Mehhhhhhhhhhhh..........
This is a pretty hard film to rate. Because I love and hate it at the same time. Eight Crazy Nights was a film released in 2002 starring SNL Alumni, Adam Sandler. Our protagonist, Davey Stone, suffered from trauma due to his parents dying from a car crash. After another lawsuit, Whitey Duvall makes a deal with the judge that he will turn Davey into a better guy. Crazy stuff ensues blah blah blah. I hate this because of the stale story, unlikeable characters, and humor that is abysmal to appalling. This was considered one of the worst animated films of all time. But I can't help but love it. Because of the catchy songs and amazing animation. This is a MID.
Shrek (2001)
Dreamworks Ogrely Sensation
The story is quite original and engaging and the humor is very satirical that only adults can understand the overall execution is nice, overall 8/10. The animation is very groundbreaking but actually haven't aged well, overall 8/10. The characters are very memorable like Shrek, Donkey, Fiona, and Lord Farquaad played by an all-star cast like Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, and John Lithgow but some are pretty one dimensional like Pinocchio and Gingy(the latter served very little to the plot), but overall 7/10. In conclusion Shrek is a fantastic film with an engaging story, funny humor, and memorable characters.
The Lion King (1994)
The Best Movie from the Disney Renaissance
This was and still is the greatest Disney movies of all time. This movie made many childhoods and turned adults into kids again. This is a nice movie and has pretty animation. Although for me personally, I would rather watch Beauty and the Beast but still this is a great movie. I love this everyone loves this.
Ed, Edd n Eddy (1999)
My favorite cartoon of all time.
This is show made my childhood. Ed, Edd, and Eddy almost represent my personality. Ed is kind and silly, Edd is intelligent and shy, and Eddy is a driving force and he is self-absorbed. I still love nickelodeon but thanks to this show I would rather go to Cartoon Network.
Toy Story (1995)
Aged Animation, Timeless Story
This is one of animation's greatest achievements. The animation is groundbreaking, but have aged mediocrely, but still has some merits that make it passable for today's standards. But the story, characters, and love made this movie truly a classic. John Lasseter and Pete Doctor really brought this movie to life. In conclusion, this movie will always hold a special place in my heart and Pixar is now the vice leader next to the giant that is Walt Disney and they have a cowboy and a space ranger to thank for that.
