Heartland: Nothing for Granted (2011)
Season 5, Episode 8
Mrs. Bell, greatest granny of all.
7 September 2021
The love and care shown here is beyond compare. How the whole family pitches in to fix her place up is amazing. When it comes to our grandparents, take nothing for granted.

Ed Norton could have spotted this.
6 September 2021
When Jack and Ty are rolling the Norton off the back of Ty's truck, it is missing it's front fender. When Ty lifts it later, it has a front fender.

A little help,anyone?
30 August 2021
The scene with the jackknifed truck and trailer would have taken more than Jack and Mitch to move. It would have to be unhitched and rolled back to allow clearance to get Mitch's truck in place.

Mrs. Bell actually owns the old Hanley house so she should be the beneficiary of the insurance after the fire.

Mrs. Bell
21 August 2021
For all of you young people out there, don't take your elders for granted. They won't be around for long. I miss all of my grandparents. Mrs. Bell is a good fillin for the greatest generation. Also, Ty should be a little nicer to his mother, but he's young and stupid with problems of his own. Especially Amy.

1972 Cheyenne pickup
18 August 2021
It's hard to get an old fashioned cowboy to roll with the times. And we all know Jack is tight on his spending. If you tried to find a 72 Cheyenne fully restored today,it would cost more than most new trucks.

Jack's Grief
18 August 2021
This, of all episodes is one of the most moving of all. Some of the facial expressions of Shaun Johnston are unforgettable. How he and Ty handle the situation is honorable for Paint's passing. And Keith Power's music during this had me wiping my eyes.

I like the scenes with Jack and Lucky Butch Connelly. It shows his compassionate feelings for elderly legends. This is why he is the rock of this family.

Jack's way is the best way to cook steak. Fred Garland had to be lying about Mitch's steak.

This is the last official appearance of Nathaniel Arcand on Heartland. One of my favorites. Maybe they will bring him back for season 15.

Where is Ty's truck?
17 August 2021
Caleb found Ty's Norton 850 Commando, but we never see what happened to the 57 GMC. If that had been written in,there wouldn't be a dry eye in the house.
