If I could've given 11 stars I would have
11 July 2023
Every episode of this show is pretty much excellent and I'm on at least my 3rd watch, but this one gets me every time.

I have family that have been in the military and my father started serving during the onset of the Korean War. My brother, 20 years later served in Korea. My uncle in Vietnam. My nephew was special forces in the Middle East. Another nephew also served on one of the ships deployed to the Middle East a few years ago.

It saddens me to know that a homeless veteran is overlooked when they SO deserve to ALL be recognized. So, this episode just really hits me every time I watch it. This was the episode that really sold Toby Ziegler's character.

So many misogynistic reviews...
16 May 2023
I actually like this show and I was prepared to not like it. At first I wasn't sure about Vanessa Lachey, but her character has grown on me as she's grown into the character. I love that she is a mother and a leader and pulls that off. Her acting, or maybe the writing was a bit off in the beginning but I think it's improved tenfold. As for the f/f relationship? What is it with people that they can't handle that? If it were a m/f relationship I doubt anyone would care, OR. They'd love it. There is a lot of the m/f relationships in the other series that people keep mentioning. Let it be already. Your reviews just come across as homophobic, or misogynistic, at best.

Personally, I think all these shows are silly entertainment and this one is diverse enough to give some diverse personalities work they might not have gotten otherwise. I'm enjoying it.

Touching story I never knew...
24 March 2023
I always thought I knew who Gloria Vanderbilt was and a bit of her history. I also learned early on that Anderson Cooper was her son. I did not know the continual tragedies she survived in her life, or how optimistic she was about life in spite of it all. After reading her It Seemed Important at the Time: A Romance Memoir I became more curious and learned about this documentary. So touching. Also very heart wrenching to hear her talk of her son, Carters suicide right before her eyes. It brought tears to my eyes. All I can say is she had a zeal for life that was almost childlike yet love was all she really wanted & wanted to give. Anderson was lucky to have known so much about her through their mutual communication before she passed. She was a remarkable woman.
