Another case of the firefighters suddenly becoming cops. The whole plot was spectacularly unrealistic and stupid. Has me debating if its even worth continuing to watch considering that this show has really gone downhill.

Burgess & Ruzek are becoming Gabby & Casey 2.0

Literally so sick of these recycled plot lines. Burgess roping Ruzek into a kid he never wanted, treating him like a literal door mat every step of the way, only for him to fall at her feet whenever she shows him an ounce of attention. Sound familiar? That's because it was the SAME plotline that they used in the most EXCRUCIATING seasons of Chicago Fire. Literally: Burgess is starting to become Gabby 2.0, and Adam is pulling some major Casey vibes with how absolutely ballless he's become in their relationship. BAD WRITING is what it is.

Truly the worst waste of an hour of my life. Whoever thought spending a whole episode with Carol chasing a rat and making soup while Daryl fixed his bike has lost the plot. If this is what they consider entertainment, I already know their personality is about as interesting as that cardboard rat trap Carol made.
