Freaking amazing episode!
20 May 2021
I genuinely got teary-eyed at the end. This was an amazing episode. I love the brotherly and father/son connection.

What a film!
11 May 2021
This is a life-changing movie that is now the greatest film I've ever seen. It's heartbreakingly beautiful. I've seen other comments to talk about the relationship between the father and the son, and that is the key that you need to watch for. The acting is so well done in the film is so well put together that it seems like no one is acting and that you're watching live footage from postwar Italy. It's an amazing film that should be studied worldwide. It's very cliché to say that a film is a masterpiece, but this film defies the clichés and truly is a masterpiece!

The race-baiting was cliché and wrong
28 March 2021
I understand the desire to you want to fit in these times that we live in, but the whole race-baiting part of the story had nothing in it to propel it forward. It was just used in a way that really served no purpose other than to make things awkward and uncomfortable. The show has potential, but it seems like it's being held back by this needless race fodder. I truly hope that this show raises its self above this in future episodes. The rest of the storyline is pretty good.

Wow, what a movie!
17 May 2020
This is a gem of a pre-code film. The cast is stellar! Ann Dvorak is gripping to watch as the heiress that throws her life away. I loved Joan Blondell as Mary. Bette Davis was great in her supporting role as the third friend. That ending! Wow! That was one of the best endings I've ever seen. This film holds up almost 90 years later.

Excellent psychological film about the mind serial killers.
16 May 2020
This is the granddaddy of Mindhunter. M captures the psychology and mindset of a serial killer 50 years before the term even existed. This is one of the best movies I've ever seen on the subject. 90 years later, and this movie is still spellbinding. Peter Lorre plays the part to perfection and Fritz Lang made Hitchcock look like an amateur in this masterpiece of a film.

Ignore the stupid negative review haters
20 December 2019
The nice thing about living in Brazil is watching Star Wars the day before everyone else in the States. Here is my spoiler-free review. This was the first Star Wars film that I was NOT excited about seeing. I didn't like The Last Jedi especially after seeing it the second time, so needless to say, I went into this with exceedingly low expectations. JJ Abrams managed to make a great Star Wars film. I was really really impressed with what he did with what he had to work with. The characters and the story surprised me in a good way. This is a great Star Wars film. JJ Abrams went back to the basics and told a story a story of good vs evil with interesting characters. I wish that the Last Jedi would have been better because it would have really made this one even more great, but it reminded me of a really good episode of the Mandalorian or Star Wars Rebels or Clone Wars (Cartoon). I give this a 8-9/10. Great movie. Go check it out. You won't regret it.

Season 2, Episode 1

This should have been the season 1 finale.
8 September 2019
As a season finale, this would have been a good episode, but it didn't have any steam as a first episode of a new season. Had it been that I would give this a 7. I mean you literally had the characters saying goodbye. It just didn't work as a season starter. Shame because overall this is a great show. I'm looking forward to episode 2.

Great film!
26 May 2019
James Earl Jones and Jane Alexander were phenomenal in their respective roles. It was a very difficult film to watch because of the racism that was portrayed. It's too bad that Jack Johnson ran into so much racism and difficulty as a fighter because man could he fight. This is a great film and worth the time to see.

Great but Sad...
25 May 2019
I love William Wellman's films. Frisco Jenny is a beautifully sad film played brilliantly by Ruth Chatterton. I'm gonna keep this review short and sweet. Give it a watch. It will keep you enthralled until the end.

McAvoy is spectaculaire!
8 November 2018
It's a real shame that James McCoy didn't at least get an Oscar nomination for this role because he nailed it. He creeps you out, and at the same time makes the watcher feel empathy for a character that should not be empathetic. Amazing job by M. Night Shaymalan who is back in form.
