Creed III (2023)
6/10
No Rocky, No Party.
27 May 2024
The third installment has a solid background story. But there's too much void with Rocky's absence. It feels soulless, empty, like something missing and it's essential. Creed I & II really hit the feeling, makes us emotional and ridiculously want to hit the gym asap. But this one, just another sports movie.

Enjoyable too watch but if you watch this franchise from Rocky I to the latest Creed, you know the heart and soul of this saga is about zero to hero. Is about thriving from the lowest point in your life. Thriving against all odds. Is about Rocky.

I love Michael B. Jordan. But without Rocky, Creed means nothing.

Forrest Gump 2.0, 2000s.
12 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
If you love Forrest Gump, you'll love this movie. There's a bit different in characters background stories, such us there's no Leutenant Dan, instead it was the terrorist Moh. Paaji taken Lt. Dan role, this "Bubba" talks about undergarments isntead of shrimp, etc, etc, but you'll notice it while watching the movie and it's not a bad thing since Laal stories came from different cultures and different times. Even for a first timer, it's still a great movie.

If only they put a lot of soundtracks based on the timeline in the movie like the original Forrest Gump, like Stairway to Heaven plays when Jenny about to jump from balcony, or Unfortunate Son when they're on chopper to Vietnam, for example. My only complaint is lack of soundtracks.

Pogone!

The virus and the leaker of the dressing room finally gone, digging his own grave with this documentary. You'd love to see it.

You can see that both Sir Alex Ferguson and Jose Mourinho were right about the player. Most of United fans including myself has been a supporter of him, even against Mourinho but thank to this documentary, we proved wrong.

This documentary opened our eyes that, maybe, if not absolutely, after all, the manager is always right about their players.

Worth to re-watch!

The Godfather CODA: The Death of Michael Corleone a.k.a The Coppola's Cut is much better than the original The Godfather Part III.

The storyline is better, not confusing. Also shows how much still in control Michael Corleone is, instead of hopelessly giving up all of his power to Vincent.

The ending is better, too! I feel much relieved with this ending than in the Part III.

Go watch it again!

Heartwarming.

This is a pretty good movie if you're looking for something pretty light, not too deep and not too complex kind of movie, but still deep enough and complex enough for some people.

Honestly we can easily see the plot and how it's gonna end up, like other basic Indonesian movie. But, with nice acting, cinematography, even lighting really creates moods and vibes, somehow it gets to your heart.

It's not an amazing movie, but it's not bad either. I think you should watch.
