Most movies starring Kevin Hart are very similar, so you know what to expect. Light comedy on a relaxing saturday evening - nothing more but it can be fun to watch if you like the typical 'Kevin Hart humor'. But "Me Time" is definitely not one of the better movies with him, rather the opposite. Kinda boring, the gags don't work most of the time and there is actually no interesting character or story, even when expecting not so much of crazy good story. So all in all you don't miss much if you skip this one, but when you decide to watch it, it is at least not bad. For me a very 'meh' time, but I can imagine that some may like it more.

I really don't know what I should say about this to be honest. I just wanted to know if it maybe can be a little, just little, bit better than the first two movies. Well.....no. I simply can't explain why there are already THREE movies and every one is so bad. And they are still making more and more for this "franchise". So do yourself, and everyone, a favor and DON'T watch it. I don't want to see more of this crap in the Netflix Top 10 for multiple weeks.

"The Batman" is a dark, psychological thriller that creates a pretty similar atmosphere like the "Dark Knight" Trilogy. This is the atmosphere I personally want to see from a Batman movie and of a comic/superhero movie in generell. The darkness and rawness I missed e.g. In "Venom", I got here tonight. Nice actors (especially Paul Dano), an interesting story and antagonists, great pictures with all the black and red elements pairing with smoke and rain. It's more about Gotham and a thrilling "detective crime story"/ neo-noir which is very nice and new for a comic movie (especially in contrast to the MCU)
Unfortunately the movie is a bit too long in my opinion and got some "dragged" minutes throughout the nearly 3 hours because of that. But that isn't too bad and doesn't effect the movie much in a negative way. And it even has the potential to mature and get even better in the future. Excited to rewatch it.

"Uncharted" is the perfect Popcorn-Cinema-Movie when you just want to turn off your brain, ignore the constructed plot and the numerous plotholes and just want to have fun with your friends in cinema on a relaxed evening. If you want to watch a good movie, you are wrong with this one. If you want a realistic movie, you are wrong with this one. If a constructed plot with plotholes bothers you, you are wrong with this one. But if you want a fast, light movie to have fun, you are absolutely right with this movie.

Nice atmosphere and suspense with interesting music that I really liked, but was too much and some point. The action was good but not fantastic. The story was okay, not very innovative and a very simple and very abrupt ending. But all in all nice and fun to watch but not a movie you will remember for years.

I was surprised about this movie. Beautiful animations with really impressive pictures and colors. Wonderful to watch and not much worse than a Pixar movie. The story was pretty nice too, liked that it had some more serious scenes (e.g. Blood). Happy I found and watched it.

"Night Teeth" tried to be a cool vampire action movie but didn't succeed. In over 100 minutes runtime nothing really happens and could not create suspense with no climax or highlights. Better dramaturgically written it would have been a better movie. But a vampire action movie that can't create suspense (and doesn't have a very original basic idea too) is not good and is too long because of that.

The movie is better than expected but not good. The CGI was okay but A LOT and sometimes I forgot that this is a Live-Action movie with CGI and no completely animated movie. The design of the turtles looked nice but doesn't fit to "Teenage" Turtles in my opinion. Nevertheless kind of fun to watch at a relaxed evening when you don't expect much and want to switch of your brain and enjoy some turtle action.

I really liked the idea of different stories of different characters in the same city. Just like in real life everybody knows each other, meeting each other in the supermarket and talking to each other at parties. But the personal stories everybody is dealing with are individual and seperated just like it is in real life and in the movie.
But except from this concept the execution was not really good, the stories only okay, the characters mostly boring and in the end everybody is happy and it couldn't have gone any better for everybody. And then you notice again that this is only a movie and not real life and by that the whole concept and intention of the movie doesn't work.

As the most romantic comedies "The Perfect Date" is completely predictable with no good story and ideas. But some Rom-Coms have at least nice jokes and likable characters. But not here. No jokes, no romantic and pale characteres that are boring and their actions and problems don't concern you at all. This is not good and the combination of a boring plot and bad written and no interesting characters makes this movie bad, boring and long.

Maybe they just had to assign it to a genre so they can release it. I had low expectation and just wanted to watch a simple rom-com. But this one was worse even with no expectations.

I watched the incredible bad remake "He's all that" and gave only 1 star (which is very rare for me). I thought the original one is better but I was surprised that it is nearly as bad as the remake. But because it is all in all slightly better, the title song "Kiss me" is great and the actors are better I give 2 stars. But it is really bad as well.

I went with my mother into the theatre to watch this movie (started in sommer/fall 2021 in Germany). My grandmother (her mother) died of Alzheimer a couple of years ago. So we already knew that, if the movie is well made, it will be a very touching topic for us.
And we were thrilled about how well done this movie was and with how much sensibility they discussed this critical topic. Especially the load and stress for the family members, how quick the mood of people with Alzheimer can change and their panic and fear when they realize that their memories fade were so realistic (and incredible performed by Anthony Hopkins).
We are really happy that other people can see how an Alzheimer disease really works and about the sensibility they discussed this, for us critical, topic. Most touching drama I have seen in a while.

When you are searching for movie for a funny Saturday evening and you see a comedy with Seth Rogan you can expect a paticular type of movie. And if you decide to watch this movie, you can't expect something artistic and a demanding intelligent comedy. If you expect that you will hate this movie, but then it is your own fault. From a Seth Rogan comedy you expect an easy funny comedy with a lot of party, drugs, good friendship and a lot of fun to watch. And "The Night before" gives you exactly what you expect and especially exactly what you want to see when you decide to watch this movie and you have a fun time watching it.

"The Courier" is a pretty nice and thrilling spy movie. The plot and characters are well written (if they are historical accurate I can't say for sure) and is very entertaining to watch during the smuggle of important informations and how Wynne gets nervous and mentally burdened by the pressure and fear.
As they beginn their rescue mission for Penkowski the movie really starts getting thrilling with nice cuts and a nice presentation from the director. The russian jail scenes at the end are very shocking with a nice and appropriate ending.
The movie gets better and better every minute you're in and creates a very thrilling and heavy atmosphere. And that ist exactly what I expect of a spy movie during the cold war.

"Love Hard" is totally and a hundret percent predictable. This isn't inevitably bad, but I can not enjoy a movie as much as I want with knowing the end (not guessing the end). It just makes scenes not as good as they want to be / should be. Every cliche of a christmas-romantic-comedy is in it, too much for me. Even though I have to say that the humor was okay, not particularly funny but not over the top like it is in many movies of this genre.
So I think for christmas fans and romantic-comedy fans and for people that can enjoy movies even with knowing plot or just want to see a movie on a Saturday evening without needing a good plot (which is totally fine; no judgement) I guess it will be fun to watch for them.

I didn't grew up with this movie and saw it for the very first time when I was 20 years old. And usually I really like watching "movies for children" just like Pixar, Studio Ghibli, Disney and so on. But I haven't got comfortable during this movie with the type of movie and type of humor. But if you have grown up with this movie or like very colorful and crazy sets and actors with exaggerated gestures and facial expressions you will probably like it. It just wasn't something for me.

I grew up watching and loving the Tobey Maguire movies. Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man was okay but I didn't really like the movies itself. And Tom Holland with his awesome realtionship to Robert Downey Jr. Aka Tom Hollands Spider-Man with Tony Stark was pretty good too.
My only problem with the first two and especially the first Tom Holland movies was that he didn't gave me those "Spider-Man-Vibes" and was more like a "little Iron Man" than Spider-Man. But this wasn't the fault of Tom Holland but of the screenplay and the need to fit into the MCU.
But the first good thing in this movie was that Tom Hollands Peter Parker now has become a "true" Spider-Man. What I mean with that is, that he has problems he need to solve by himself, conflicts with himself (The "hate" from publicity and the death of May) and isn't Tonys or SHIELDS little boy anymore. He just gets more depth and emotional scenes so I can identify more with him.
The next good thing about this movie is of cause the return of Tobey Maguires and Andrew Garfields Spider-Men and with them all the villains we know and love already. Such many nostalgic moments and a really great cinema experience.
Furthermore I was surprised that in this movie I really liked the humor that I'm usually tired of in other MCU movies. But the chemistry between the three Spider-Men and between the three protagonists of the Tom Holland Trilogy works pretty good in my opinion.
So all in all "No Way Home" is first of all a better Spider-Man-Movie as the previous two with the addition of nostalgic characters and secondly finally a MCU movie that has humor as well as emotional scenes which work and gave more depth to the characters. Finally a really great cinema experience again with a marvel movie.

"Single all the way" is the typical christmas romance movie with a plot that is exactly the same in EVERY christmas romance. And on top of that the movie is full of cliches and it gets so annoying after 20 minutes. Every cliche about gay people and about christmas movies is in this movie and that's A LOT. Is it a bad movie in my opinion? Yes. But I think it is good enough not to be extremely bad and some people will definitely like it. I unfortunately do not.

"District 9" is a really interesting Science-Fiction movie. The first part of the movie, made in the style of a documentary, is really interesting. Thematizing well known problems by using aliens is pretty smart and in my opinion a great idea. Definitely a fresh new Sci-Fi style that stand out from the rest.

"Mong-ta-joo" is a pretty nice and thrilling drama/thriller. It really shows me why I love korean movies so much. Even an "average" korean thriller is much better than an average american and much much better than a german thriller. Great suspense, characters and nice implementation of the director. Exactly what I want to see of a korean thriller.

At first (first chapter) I did like the movie, but I had expected a little bit more of it. But with the end of the first chapter and with the second and third chapter the movie got better and better and looking back to the first chapter it was really good.
The manipulation, the visuals (japanese, korean and british elements) the actors and the characters (manipulative, naive, disgusting) were all incredible good. I have to admit that I was surprised by the ammount of sexual scenes, but they were made with a very good level/niveau.
At first I wanted to give it a 8-star rating, but the movie stayed in my mind for over a week. And when a movie can surprise me during the movie and even more in the week afterwards, it is a definitely a very good movie. And I'm sure that I will like it even more in a rewatch.
