All the emotions you surmount while watching it feels real.
The Black Phone (2021)
A good horror for newbies like me
The horror, Then the child actors, the plot, the sub-plots and ofcourse Ethan Hawke himself. I usually avoid horror movie, but this one's trailer made me want to watch it leaving everything else.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. The jump scares were scary obviously. The ending was cool too. Loved it. When there is Ethan Hawke, we can assume the movie was worth to watch.
~Azmol Hussain.
Jai Bhim (2021)
A movie for a time
One of the best court drama.
Such things actually used to happen India. Maybe is still.
The movie and the acting feels so real. Only one has to experience it by watching it. Its also heartbreaking to see that it was a real event which took place in India.
The lead actor played the performance is superbly awesome.
~Azmol Hussain.
Why Didn't They Ask Evans? (2022)
Not much of a judge here. But decent and enjoyable
This is the first ever Agatha Christe's series that I saw. Yes, ofcourse it was nice. I enjoyed and loved it. There was suspence and mental thing. It was a usual Christe's work it looked. The English setting and the scenic beauty was lovely.
The mystery was nice.
Skyggen i mit øje (2021)
BEST AFTER EFFECT OF WAR MOVIE EVER.
THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST WAR MOVIE EVER MADE.
I was in tears when it ended. It is such a real and sad movie.
Definetely not for the faint hearted. Wars have such a deep impact on our life. And if kids die in war its more depressing.
This movie left such a sad remarks on the viewer. I am unable to describe using words, what this movie is. Its basically about an air-strike by British military but the catch here is, the target was wrong. Yap. You read it correctly. There were about to strike in a warehouse but they targetted a church school full of kids.
The emotions captured are high and will definetely will keep you by the end of this video. This movie reaches the level of Scchindler's list and sort. I am sure this will be a classic in future course of time.
The scenes of boy capturing names and conveying to a theatre of parents desperately waiting for the news of their sons/daughter breaks a million heart and its captured in the best way. My throat was dry and I couldn't watch it entirely so I paused and completed it the next day.
The Sea Beast (2022)
Great Movie. Loved it. Super beautiful story. Must watch animation.
The story. The animation. The Graphics. The dialogue. The character. The overall vibe. AWESOME.
Loved the concept and the beast obvious.
The kid was nice too.
One thing I have to mention is that now a days I feel that the stories are becoming similar day by day. I mean I kind of felt it was a story I have heard or seen someplace and not a unique or new. But beside this small drawback (which is very personal) I think its a overall an awesome movie.
Jhund (2022)
Good. Inspirational. Sports and Amitabh.
When there is a legendary actor like Big B on screen, rest assured that he will bring life to the character and movie itself. Nothing less has been done here. Well, the movie is real story of a man went above and beyond to help a group of slum and despicable boys and make a team representing India in Football.
Its motivational and pleasing to see when you have The legendary actor acting. Of course not his best performance but still it was nice.
The team mates also played a good acting and made a good movie overall.
Janhit Mein Jaari (2022)
Well, a movie with a social issue at hand
The movie surrounds a social issue of using protection during intimacy. There have been movies using this theme like "Helmet" and some others. The movie is nice and hit directly to the point of message delivery. And hits it right.
Some scenes were too fast and some were slow. This is what I felt. I can recommend it to any one at the age of 18 and above.
Ante Sundharaniki (2022)
Really loved and enjoyed it thoroughly
And we know how south indian movie. This was a nice south indian movie about two lovers who lie just to get married.
But I didn't feel bore even for a second.
The comedy acting were nicely done.
The story was in kind of reverse line.
Thar (2022)
Loved the location.
The story was nice.
The story was nice too as the story unfolded gradually, things started to make sense. I am very impressed with the location and the yellow tone of the movie. Gives the vibe.
Jugaadistan (2022)
I enjoyed this series.
Not the best. But it was goodly decent. The cast were more than great talent but story was not that good that it deserve this group.
I wish it was more of a crime thriller for them in that way I feel entire different setup and magic could have happened with that set of cast.
Jaadugar (2022)
Time pass. Pop corn worthy movie
Not something extra ordinary, but yes not something to throw. This is the type of comedy movie that one likes to watch when you chill on a sunday afternoon. Comedy and romance saved it a bit.
Not a heavy movie in any way.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)
Watchable for sure. Enjoyable too.
It seems like Marvel is taking a turn.
Tough to tell whether its a good turn or not.
They are trying hands on horror genre. Like a good horror movie.
The cool graphics of the movie and Dr Strange himself made it a watchable movie.
Tabbar (2021)
What a thriller!!! Mind blowing
One of the best hindi thriller series about family drama. No doubt.
Every actor played their best version to bring colour to their characters in their role.
The family did everything to save themself.
~Azmol Hussain.
Ladri di biciclette (1948)
A movie worth remembering!
When a man gets a job, there can be no man happier than him because he has the responsibility of his family. Imagine this scene post war when the economy is dire and there is scarcity in everything people are wiling to do anything to earn money.
This movie is a tragic story of a man who first pawns his bicycle to feed his family, only later to get the news of a job but he needs his cycle. He still takes the job as he thought to manage for a cycle later because getting a job in the first place in the first place is tough enough. His wife supports and sales their bedsheets to get money for pawning the cycle again. Thus he gets the cycle. But unfortunately his cycle gets stolen at the first day of his job.
This is a must watch for people to get a tad bit experience of how the lived post war. War just doesn't kills people but the after effects of war is equally devastating if not more. We can see that in the end he too, in the moment, of desperation, becomes a cycle thief.
People lived at a stage where its tough to live. Its really heart breaking to see but it is the truth.
~Azmol Hussain.
House of Secrets: The Burari Deaths (2021)
What a documentary! Also it true makes you go "mindblown"
A person who saw this 3 episode documentary may not be the same after watching this.
Its definitely shocking and disturbing to your core. Just the simple fact that its based on real fact makes you go like "whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat".
How can something this disturbing even remotely happen in a socially engrossed society like like Delhi, which is so densely populated. Well, sometimes you just never know what thing can go inside the mind of people.
Its definitely a must watch if you can handle this heavy substance.
Looop Lapeta (2022)
I did enjoy the movie. Totally.
When I watched the movie review, I got to know that it was a remake of a classic movie. Still I loved it, the colour grading, the camera shot movement and the comedy timing were all point. I am no reviewer, but the story telling was nice too. Maybe because I watched it with no expectation or maybe because I haven't watched the original movie. Could be anything,
It does serve as a good humour movie if someone wants a hindi comedy. The rating 8 that I gave may seem too much for the movie, but honestly I enjoyed every scene. Yes, if I have to nitpick then the acting of the lead actress may not be upto the point that the writing was demanding. But other than this its tough to find a bad spot.
Ms. Marvel (2022)
Some on. Some off.
Can't praise a lot. Can't defame a lot.
Its the mixture of graphics and music that I gave 6 stars.
Its watchable and enjoyable. But to be honest, it doesn't feel like the typical marvel line of story.
Anek (2022)
"You are right, but..." The ending gives the vibe
We all softly know the major issues that India and north-eastern states always have. To maintain the peace, violence takes place. The movies tries to depict that in a way most of us understand or atleast try to understand.
Ayushmann in the lead role makes for the perfect guy to carry on with the project and all the supporting cast did a great job.
Being from a Northeastern myself, I could relate somehow. Its a beautiful place but the violence is just sad. Those people need to prove that they are Indian just like a muslim guy in Indian has to prove that he is Indian. Sucks.
Sorry, about the movie, Its pretty well made. I would say the importance to detail was given. Like one of the best example would be using "NE" number plate of cars instead of any particular Name plate of any state. Pretty smart.
I would recommend this movie to everyone.
Man vs Bee (2022)
Two words. MR. BEANNNNNNNNN isn't it enough to watch this series?????
Come on guys. He is a master of comedy in a short web series of Netflix.
Obviously it is going to be a hell of a ride.
Mr Rowan showing off his acting skill in another of his show. He is a gem.
Also lets not forget the bee. It did good acting too.lol.
Asur: Welcome to Your Dark Side (2020)
Okayish for Indian standard
The series touches on the human nature. How a dad's abuse towards a son can turned out to be so damaging that the butterfly effect would cause turmoil on such a big scale.
I would say the last episode was right on point. The other episode were kind of just elongating the series to make it longer. Being a tech nerd, there were way too many mistakes that were hard to avoid.
Bol (2011)
One of the best asian movie, EVER MADE....
To be honest, I have seen a fair deal of movies, but a movie with such amazing story telling that also from a country like Pakistan has blown my mind away.
I am writing this review after years when i actually watched it but it feels I saw it yesterday. Its ingraved in my memories. The scene, the emotions, the beauty, the acting, the screenplay, the performance delivery and every other million things were on dot of perfection.
I would highly recommend this movie to every one who crave for a movie with great story. Its one of a movie to tear you to pieces and leave you sobbing. Who knows you might start contemplating about your life?
Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi (2019)
Super good family drama set in sad setting
I am not surprised when such a good cast is there in a frame. It was amazing the way the story has flowed. It gives you a vibe of little good thing when there is a bad sad story going on.
Pariyerum Perumal (2018)
Great movie, great direction
Almost all actors were super amazing. The story telling. And everything was smooth.
The social message which the movie portrayed was delivered aptly.
Luca (2021)
Awesome is just the right word
When Pixar and Disney joins, we don't get anything other than a super blast of time filled with fun, friendship and laughing time.
Amazing movie.
