Elemental (2023)
8/10
Actually really enjoyed it
9 November 2023
I know that the critics say about Disney Pixar becoming less and less over the years (I mean I really understand, I grew up with Lion King, Pocahontas, Tarzan...I still love the hand drawn animations and they will always be my favorite.)But there's still this feeling that I had with Element that I've had as a child growing up with old Disney movies. It felt magical again. Element has something that touched me deeply that I haven't felt in a while from them! Of how they used to with Disney in their prime days.

So if you're wondering about this Disney movie and you haven't seen one in a long time because of the current "downfall" , give this one a try. Maybe you'll feel the same about this one...or at least really close.

Saw X (2023)

Pure Nostalgia ride
26 October 2023
I love every Saw movie, but I know it became a little lesser at the later releases...especially Spiral being one of the least good ones. I went in blind; no expectations. Like I haven't seen any trailers or any info whatsoever. And my god, I was blown away. So much nostalgia , And John actually being on screen MOST of the movie was incredible. I think this is one of the best entries into the franchise.

It's nothing like the previous movies where it's super focused on the victims and the traps; its kind of a mixture between that and more emphasis on the story itself. Again, I was blown away. 10 time's the charm i guess.

Honestly, really not as bad as the reviews say.

I expected way worse, going through the reviews. I've been binging all the Saw movies one after another. It really is probably my favorite horror franchise. And sure, you see the magic a lot more in the older movies, but I can see they still tried to create something fresh from the old basics. The result is not as good, but it still had me interested to keep watching, to see what would happen. I also thought the traps were pretty good too, despite they've covered a lot of ideas already.

And even if I didn't expect a protagonist like him.

So yeah, the movie really wasn't as bad. I enjoyed it!

Really not as bad, expected worse.
8 February 2022
Went in without any expectation, except a little bit of thought of being disappointed. In the end, I'm actually surprised that this movie isn't as bad as a lot of horros I've seen over time.... I know as of right now 4 out of 10 isn't the best rating at all, but I think it's a bit better than that.

It starts out slow and cliche and a lot of...questionable things happen. But I just think the way the story goes, it isn't as bad once you're a little sucked into it.

All n' all, there are better horros out there, but certainly, also worse... that's why I think this still deserves a solid 6.0 was a good watch for one time.

Good movie, but still left a bit disappointed

For one I'm not really too judgmental when it comes to super hero action movies, I always enjoy the special effects and don't look so much to story most of the time for these specific movies. But the Venom movies are ones I really look up to because I love the characters in here. Especially Carnage, who is one of my favorites. That being said, I enjoyed the movie for what it was, but I feel like it was too rushed. The screen time Carnage had was minimal, I feel. Same for the battle between Venom and Carnage wasn't really something I hoped for.

Carnage is a huge character in this circle of Venom characters, I just think it deserved more than this.
