Darkwing Duck (1991–1992)
10/10
Villains of St.Canard, beware, for Darkwing Duck, the terror that flaps in the night, has come.

I loved this show from the very first episode. Darkwing Duck makes an excellent and very realistic hero, one that makes blunders and mistakes, but always does his best to overcome them. He's devoted to his chosen position as St.Canard's protector, and he has a very normal weakness: his ego. His adopted daughter Gosalyn is spunky, but sweet. She's always adding spice, humor, and unique twists to the show. I can't forget Launchpad, DW's ignorant, but devoted sidekick. Without him, Darkwing might not have been so lucky in his cases. Or maybe not... Anyway, if any of these characters were missing, the show would have been can-celled long before.

Darkwing Duck: Beauty and the Beet (1991)
Season 1, Episode 4

Warning: Spoilers
This episode was not my favorite, but it still had perks. The idea of having the episode in story form was creative, and the plot was pretty good. The powers Bushroot discovered after his transformation were creative, and the way they were used was even better. The conflict was very realistic, and occurs quite often in our real life. But it didn't have Gosalyn at all, which was a downer because she often adds spice and spunk to the show. And in my opinion, Bushroot didn't make a very good villain. Plus the two other scientists who were teasing Bushroot seemed very childish, but of course that could be because it was a cartoon and made for children to laugh at. All in all, I think it could have been better, but it was okay.
