A reborn from the ashes
I was deeply touched by this documentary. It didn't feel heavy heart as I expected, given what the director had gone through in the past few years. The opening scene caught my attention immediately, it's breathtaking. The narrative is even more captivating. The documentary took me through the amazing scenes of Yunnan and Tibet, from a different viewpoint. I have been to Tibet, but I never got so close to the people and the land. It's an amazing journey, following Zhang Zhehan, to go to villages, chat with people. I am deeply touched by the people, how he interacted with them, and how he explained his feelings towards life's journey. I am so grateful for his openness.

It's embarrassing to watch sometimes
The special effects were so fake, I didn't even know how to describe, it felt like I can pull the actors off the set.... and the colors were wired at times. A few themes were good but mostly it's really fake.
The bigger issue is that the two leading characters were out of character, especially the male character supposed to be a prince but I am not sure who he was trying to play. Sometimes it's embarrassing to watch and I had to fast forward....
Then the plot itself, the storyline is so bizarre.... I didn't read the original book. The series itself didn't make sense to me. I mean of course it can be dramatic but not without logic or common sense.
