Post Mortem (2020)
Insanely bad
This movie is a mockery. Awful acting, awful CGI, story is all over the place with no rhyme or reason to any of it, every conversation and interaction is awkward and forced, I don't understand how this got any reviews over 2/10. The attempted jumpscares are the lamest I've ever seen in my life and that's saying a lot since I watch every bad horror movie. It's not even that they aren't scary, you just sit there scratching your head like "huh? What was that?".
I feel bad for even mentioning Haneke's masterpiece in the same context as this pile of poop, but if you feel like your IQ is above 70, go watch The White Ribbon instead.
Imawa no Kuni no Arisu (2020)
Not sure why I watched the whole thing
This truly does feel like live action anime. I found myself physically cringing at times, the acting is so over the top it's ridiculous. You can find all the anime clichés in this. The robot-like cool person, the insane bald bad guy with tattoos, cringy super emotional good guy greg protagonist...
Another user said it feels like whoever made this has no concept of natural human interactions and this was the exact same thing that kept coming to my mind while I was watching the series.
The plot is okay (although senseless) but some of the games (or solutions) make no sense whatsoever.
There are a lot of androgynous looking actors, if you're into that it might make certain episodes a semi-enjoyable watch for you.
I See You (2019)
Dreadful
My partner said somewhere around the 15th minute mark "Alright I can already tell this is going to be an awful movie" and rolled over to sleep.
God, I wish I'd done the same.
Even though until the frogging comes into picture it's sort of tolerable. The rest of the movie afterwards is just painful. When the two home invaders are introduced you can already tell what's been happening, so there's literally no point of watching any further.
This movie wants to do something bigger than it could realistically ever hope to achieve (which is a 2/10 movie).
Most shocking thing about this film is the high ratings it gets...Feels like I'd watched something entirely different.
