Fortnite (2017)
Stop saying that it's bad.
Ok, don't get me wrong. It can be bad. There were some stupid changes. But the real issue is the community. The clickbait, the try hard, the weeper, and the inappropriate. I once joined a lobby to hear "Where the F)&@ we landing?" And so on, like I said. It can be bad but overall. It's the game that turned out good, but like so many other games. Minecraft, Rocket League, and COD, the community couldn't get their act together and it fell. Just sad.
Space Jam: A New Legacy (2021)
One hot mess
Space Jam: A New Legacy shows how much ABSOLUTE POWER Warner Bros has over the film and tv industry. The mess that they had made bragging ruined a perfect movie. It's like The Mask, and Son of the Mask. Or cars and cars2. A mess. LeBron had ruined his chances of more roles in movies in such a short time.
Anaconda (1997)
(Sarcastically) Soooooo reeallistic...
It's a B-Tier movie and the only thing that holds it us is it semi memorable cast (Owen Wilson). The CGI is not the best. I was more confused than enjoyed. I can say that Anaconda should and could have been better but was a bargain bin movie.
Hilda (2018)
Just couldn't click
Coming from a huge animation fan. This show could not click. It felt like a formula that is traditional but Netflix didn't commit enough. They said "Ya know let's make a series that makes $$$ and then dump it!"
Amphibia: The Hardest Thing (2022)
Made me cry
Only hopping on at the episode True Colors, I grew so much along with the characters and when it ended. I cried. When Sprig goes up to convince Anne to not use the stones power and when the time skipped 10 years I cried harder and harder. I ended quick but made the most out of it.
The Boss Baby: Back in the Crib (2022)
A movie series mocked and milked by Netflix
Animation: I get that Tina's supposed to have huge eyes but she looks like a demon. The animation just doesn't work.
Story: WHY DOES THE FBI HAVE TO BE INVOLVED! Stacy and Jimbo's daughter doesn't even exist in the main story.
Notes: Netflix made a mockery of dreamworks. I hate to say that Netflix failed to make a successful collaboration.
Barbie & Chelsea the Lost Birthday (2021)
Ummm. What happened!
Animation: The animation is near terrible. I had to watch this with my sister and when Barbie and others lay in the flower bed, the grass looks terrible. It feels rushed and poorly made.
Story: I couldn't comprehend the story. It was soooo confusing.
Cast and voice acting: Most of it feels like they used the same people for WAY too many people.
Notes, the newer art style kinda ruined the chances at making a successful movie and show.
I wish I could rate this lower.
Stranger Things (2016)
A show about an age I never got to experience.
I never got to experience the 80s but now I can. The Mullet. Disco. And More. The show I will say is a bit lengthy, and a bit too wordy. But the action make up for it with some of the best fight scenes in Netflix and modern horror history. Netflix doesn't normally make the best shows. But shows like Stranger Things, Squid Game, and Kid Cosmic have shown how Netflix can handle and see a good idea. The story is phenomenal and the character development is great. The Demogorgon, Mind Flayer and Vecna are all solid villains and deserves everything it got. 9/10 show. Loved it!
Godzilla vs. Kong (2021)
More of a disappointment than a war of worlds situation.
Godzilla Vs Kong was a disappointment. The cgi was good like inside the hidden world but in places lackluster. And the story... the side story of the monster observing and documenting trio felt like it was competing with the main story, the fight. The inclusion of Mecha-Godzilla was not needed but fun to see a power hour tag team situation with the kaiju and ape.
It wasn't the sequel we needed and it could have been well worth it if Warner Bros spent more that a year on this waste of a film.
Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Candace Against the Universe (2020)
Great with some issues
The movie is great! The plot has very few holes and the development with the characters that everything is not what it seems. I will say, I have watched the series time after time and love the animation but what happened with this movie?!?! Some scenes use a bit lackluster animation but we do have the Perry The Platypus in space scene. The music helps give the Phineas and Ferb foundation some more strength. Overall, great job Disney and Crew but it could have been better.
The Mitchells vs the Machines (2021)
Masterpiece
Feels like a Gravity Falls X Terminator movie, the animations are a treat for the eyes and the voice acting is great! The characters voice actors and actresses fit the characters well. Fits modern age with the inclusion of old and new memes. While creating some. The music fits the retro but modern theme and the character development is great too. I can't express how much of a masterpiece this is. Alex Hirsh helped make this, so it's epic!!!
