I hate when things on this site get edited for no reason. Also, please forgive me for constantly tweaking my lists and correcting any typos, I’m not perfect.

(Actors denied entry: Jim Ward, the voice of the Sentinel in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, will not be included, as he has retired months prior to this list being created.)
(Removals: Tom Kane, Magneto's voice actor from the same game, has been removed, due to his retirement. Reuben Langdon, the former voice of Ken Masters from the Street Fighter series, has been removed due to also being a believer in conspiracy theories similar to Chuck Huber, and for supporting far-right politics.)
(Side note: Laura Bailey, Liam O'Brien, and Fred Tatasciore are tied for having the most voice roles in the fighting game genre on this list, as they lent their talent to eight fighting game characters.)
(Side note 2: May Kevin Conroy and Ken Lally rest in peace…)
Previously, there existed a fighting game based on the franchise called "Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends". But considering that it's a platform fighter, I decided to take up the task of building the cast of this hypothetical game. "Showdown of Legendary Legends" featured characters from the first three films, including a scrapped character and a character from one of the second movie's promotional shorts. Not only would this game feature characters from said three films, but a majority of the DLC fighters would be characters who made their debut in the three TV shows: "Legends of Awesomeness", "The Paws of Destiny", and "The Dragon Knight". Four characters from the fourth film and an original fighter based on a scrapped character from the second movie will also be featured. Despite Kung Fu Panda 4 co-director Stephanie Ma Stine declaring the three TV shows non-canon to the movies, as well as their divisiveness among the fanbase, don't worry: this game takes place in a parallel timeline that exists outside of the movie continuity. Anyone can get in. (And besides, this game won't be canon, either.)
The base roster would feature twenty-two fighters; twenty-one characters from the first three films, and one original fighter created for this game. Said original fighter would be the main antagonist and final boss of the game's story and arcade modes. The DLC would consist of five Character Passes with the first three containing six fighters each and the latter two both containing four. The final fighter of the fourth and fifth Passes each would be a guest character.
The voice cast would contain a plethora of role reprisals from the TV shows, a few new replacements, and only three actors returning from the movies. Those returning to voice said characters from the movies will be denoted with asterisks.
Without further ado, here's my take on the voice cast for a hypothetical Kung Fu Panda fighting game.
This is the second episode in a four-part series.
(Actors denied entry: Vic Mignogna, the voice of Dragon Ball Z's incarnation of Broly from Dragon Ball FighterZ, will not be added as a result of being blacklisted from the voice acting industry following a series of sexual misconduct allegations, while Dave Mallow, the voice of Akuma in the Street Fighter IV sub-series and Marvel vs. Capcom 3, won't be included, as he retired from voice acting a few years prior to the making of this list.)
(Removals: Amanda Winn-Lee, the voice of Yukiko Amagi in Persona 4: Arena, has also been removed due to her semi-retired status. Chuck Huber, the voice of Android 17 in Dragon Ball FighterZ, has also been removed, due to his support of NFTs and also due to being an anti-vaxxer, flat-Earther, et cetera. Karen Strassman, the voice of Poison from the Street Fighter series, has also been removed for similar reasons. Darrel Guilbeau, the voice of Viewtiful Joe in "Marvel vs. Capcom 3", had to be removed due to his lack of activity within the voice acting industry, as his last known voice role was back in 2015. Wendee Lee, the voice of Xianghua from the Soulcalibur series, has been removed for reprising her role as Yoruichi Shihōin in "Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War", which effectively meant replacing the character's new voice actress, Anairis Quiñones. Not long after, she made remarks toward Quiñones which came out as rude and unprofessional. Despite the whole crisis being resolved, she will remain removed.)
(Side note: Despite Charles Martinet retiring from the role of Mario, he will remain on here due to how much of a positive impact he left on us fans.)
(Side note 2: Patrick Seitz currently has the most voice roles in the fighting game genre on this list, as he has lent his voice to not one, nor two, but FOURTEEN fighting game franchises.)
(Side note 3: May Philece Sampler and Billy Kametz rest in peace…)
I know there have been a few Marvel-themed fighting games in the past, but I frequently wondered what a newer-generation Marvel fighting game would look like and how it would play. I'm talking one with a bigger roster, story mode, rollback netcode, crossplay, et cetera.
The base roster would feature forty fighters, with some returning from the "Marvel vs. Capcom" series, and a few newcomers; and the DLC would consist of six Season Passes, with six fighters each. (Asterisks denote new fighters.)
The bosses for arcade mode would be:
Galactus (under normal conditions) Annihilus (1 Perfect KO, without continues) Knull (2 Perfect KOs, without continues) Amatsu-Mikaboshi (3 Perfect KOs, without continues)
Without further ado, here are the voice actors I would choose for each fighter.
With that out of the way, here are the actors I would like to cast as the voices for each fighter.
This is the fourth episode & finale of this series.
To paraphrase Japanese professional fighting game player Tokido: "Fighting games are something so great."
(Actor(s) denied entry: Austin St. John, the voice of Jason Lee Scott/Mighty Morphin' Red Ranger in "Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid", won't be added due to being involved in a crypto scam back in 2022.)
(Removals: Tara Strong, the voice of Harley Quinn in the Injustice series, has been removed, due to promoting NFTs, being a supporter of PETA, tweeting Islamophobic remarks during the ongoing Arab-Israeli conflict, et cetera. Despite having apologized for these statements, she will remain removed. Justin Roiland, the voice of Rick and Morty in MultiVersus (albeit through archived voice clips), has been removed for engaging in domestic violence and sexual misconduct; resulting in Ian Cardoni and Harry Belden replacing him as Rick and Morty respectively. Ronda Rousey, the voice of Sonya Blade in Mortal Kombat 11, has been removed, due to her poor voice performance as the character and, most of all, her overall divisive online reputation, such as being an anti-vaxxer and supporting conspiracy theories.)
(Side note 1: With the removal of Tara Strong, Phil LaMarr has replaced her as the actor with the most fighting game voice roles on this list, having voiced five characters.)
(Side note 2: May Carl Weathers and Jason David Frank rest in peace…)
(With all four lists created, to say that I'm disappointed in actors like Hellena Taylor, Chuck Huber, Reuben Langdon, and Tara Strong would be an understatement.)
Members of the fighting game community I would like to mention since they don’t have IMDb pages:
Jeremy "Vicious" Lopez (Play-by-play commentator for Street Fighter 6)
Steve "TastySteve" Scott (Play-by-play commentator for Street Fighter 6)
James "jchensor" Chen (Color commentator for Street Fighter 6)
This is the first episode in a four-part series.
Playable characters, announcers, final bosses, and assist characters integral to a fighter's gameplay are acceptable. Voice actors for the upcoming League of Legends fighting game, titled "2XKO", will be added once the actors for each revealed character have been confirmed.
(WARNING: I see each of these actors' roles as being similar to a badge of honor. Should an actor engage in inappropriate behavior, they, along with all of their roles, will be deleted.)
(Side notes: Only characters from traditional fighting games or platform fighters will be featured. Unless an upcoming game is already released, the voice actors for certain characters will be listed with a question mark until their involvement in the cast is confirmed or not. If an actor passes away, they will be given a short elegy underneath their voice roles in relation to one of their many roles in their career.)
(Removals: Hellena Taylor, the voice of Bayonetta in the Super Smash Bros. series from SSB4 to Ultimate, has been removed for verbally attacking Jennifer Hale (the new and current voice of Bayonetta), calling for a boycott of "Bayonetta 3", and for spreading misinformation about her pay dispute that created a rift in the voice acting industry. Chris Cain, the former voice of Dee Jay in the Street Fighter IV series, has been removed, due to his retirement from voice acting.)
Actor(s) I would like to mention since they don't have an IMDb page:
Thomas "tátlo" Gregory (Eagle from Killer Instinct (2013))
Troupe Gammage (Trey of Triforia/Zeo Gold Ranger in Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid)
Tony Porter (Dai Shi in Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid)
Angelica Porter (Lauren Shiba/Super Samurai Red Ranger in Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid)
Caz Inghram (Aang (from Avatar: the Last Airbender) in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2)
Only eighteen characters from the leak were officially revealed to complete the base roster. They are veteran fighters Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile, Ken, Blanka, Dhalsim, E. Honda, Dee Jay, Zangief, Cammy, Juri, & Luke, and newcomers Jamie, Kimberly, Manon, Marisa, JP, & Lily.
The returning voice actors are as follows: Kyle Hebert as Ryu, Aleks Le as Luke, Jessica Straus as Juri, John Snyder (under the alias of Joe DiMucci) as E. Honda, Peter Beckman as Zangief, Caitlin Glass as Cammy, Ian Sinclair as Rashid, Edward Bosco as Ed, and Gerald C. Rivers as M. Bison.
The replacement voice actors are as follows: Jennie Kwan as Chun-Li, Ray Chase as Guile, David Matranga as Ken, Luis Bermudez as Blanka, Keith Silverstein as Dhalsim, Zeno Robinson as Dee Jay, and Chris Guerrero as Akuma.
The newcomers' voice actors are as follows: Stephen Fu as Jamie, Anairis Quiñones as Kimberly, Cherami Leigh as Manon, Allegra Clark as Marisa, Wally Wingert as JP, Tiana Camacho as Lily, and Faye Mata as AKI.
The replaced actors were as follows: Laura Bailey as Chun-Li (unionized), Travis Willingham as Guile (unionized), Reuben Langdon as Ken (replaced for making controversial statements on social media), Taliesin Jaffe as Blanka (most likely busy), Christopher Bevins as Dhalsim (most likely because Capcom wanted a person of color to portray the character), Chris Cain as Dee Jay (obscure actor), and Richard Epcar as Akuma. While I am miffed that Epcar got replaced, I do hold Chris Guerrero's performance as the character in high regard, due to him sounding much like his Japanese voice actor.
After Rashid, AKI, Ed, and Akuma were revealed on April 20, 2023 as the DLC fighters for Year 1, finally giving the June 2022 leak closure, the 2024 Summer Game Fest revealed the four fighters for Year 2: M. Bison, Terry Bogard & Mai Shiranui of Fatal Fury fame, and Elena. Since Bison's gameplay and voice actor have been revealed, here's where I come in for the latter three characters. (I deliberately left out Mai on this list, as my head-canon voice actress for her in my KOF XV dub wishlist, Cherami Leigh, already voices Manon. If Mai gets revealed for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, I will put her actual English voice actress on the list, considering each character trailer for that game also reveals their voice actors.)
With Terry & Mai added as the first two non-Capcom fighters for this game, I think it's safe to say that guest fighters are now on the table. Without further ado, here's who I think could voice each character, now that the voice actors for all of the characters from the June 2022 leak have been unveiled. Asterisks denote a role reprisal.
Characters I personally don't see returning at all: Abel, Abigail, Adon, Charlie Nash (deceased), Decapre, El Fuerte, Eleven, FANG (already disconfirmed), Gen, Ingrid, Juli, Juni, Kage, Necalli, Necro, Q, Remy, Rufus, Twelve
Characters I think are unlikely to return at this point: Gouken, Guy, Oro, Rolento, Sean Matsuda, Sodom, T. Hawk, Zeku
I won't be including Daniel Lindholm, one of the co-composers for Street Fighter V, on account of being fired and blacklisted Capcom for making a personal statement that almost shot down Fei Long's chances of being in future Street Fighter installments. The composers of Skullgirls have been removed due to the game being changed by a large censorship patch that was extremely controversial with fans.
A few musicians that I'd like to include here since they lack IMDb pages:
AISHA (Vocalist of "The Disaster of Passion" (May's theme), "Love the Subhuman Self" (Millia Rage's theme), "Perfection Can't Please Me" (Jack-O’'s theme) and "The Town Inside Me" (Bridget's theme) from Guilty Gear: –STRIVE–)
Black Tide (Defunct metalcore band behind "Honest Eyes", the cinematic intro theme of Street Fighter X Tekken)
Christopher de Leon (Vocalist of "The Herald of Gargos" (Shadow Jago/Omen's theme from Killer Instinct (2013))
Daniel K. Solovitz (Co-composer of "All Right!", Dee Jay's from Street Fighter 6; in tandem with Chris B. Harris)
EXILE (Japanese boy band behind "THE NEXT DOOR ~INDESTRUCTIBLE~", the cinematic intro theme of Street Fighter IV)
Randy Marx & Rocco808 (Rappers of "Not on the Sidelines", the main theme of Street Fighter 6)
Raon Lee (Vocalist of "Primal Wonder", the main theme of DNF Duel (performed in Korean))
On an interesting note, Erika Harlacher, who many will recognize as the English voice actress of Ann Takamaki from Persona 5, apparently can speak Thai, as shown below. I find this fascinating, because no one ever mentions this whenever she is interviewed.
Without further ado, here are some fighting game voice actors who voiced certain characters in other languages.
Voice actor(s) I want to add here, since they don't have IMDb pages:
Thomas "tátlo" Gregory (Eagle from Killer Instinct (2013); from the Native American tribe of the Nez Perce, speaks Nimipuutímt)
