Bee and PuppyCat (2013)
I feel seen
I would recommend this show for every adult who wants to reconnect with their childhood. Tiring days are so much better with this art piece. It's a light entertainment, so it calms you and feels you with real joy. The characters are relatable, they have relationships which are not usually presented in TV shows and movies. The plot is easily loveable. I love the creative character designs and the beautifully drawn pastel-neon world. I'm sure millennials who loved the old cartoon network shows will love this cute animation too. We need more calming and happy shows like this! I truly believe the world would be a happier place.
Too Hot to Handle (2020)
Am I enjoying a reality show?
I don't watch reality shows like ever, but Netflix recommended the game and it was quite fun to dress up my character and participate in a dating game. I could never in real life, but it was kind, lighthearted, fun game.
After playing it I saw that this is a real show and I was curious. At first I was disappointed that it is more "real" - the game did a good job accepting diversity, but the show brought the typical reality show faces.
However, after the first episode I felt the same as playing the game. I love that there isn't any fight or cattyness in this show (- maybe only one). Everyone tries to be respectful and civil. The island is beautiful, the colors are so vibrant they make my depressed heart lighter.
The show could be great, but the dialogs seem forced, the guests repeat the same sentences through the seasons, I actually can't decide that are the guests actors, and the plot had been ready before they had recorded anything or do they had some autonomy in their decisions. I wouldn't care if this is all fiction but then I would like to see better written dialogs!
Overall it's fun and surprisingly "classy" for a reality show. It definitely made my days a little bit happier.
The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (2019)
This is a miracle
This is art. The characters, the decor, the acting, the story, everything is a masterpiece in it. The characters are greatly written, even the female ones too, which is alone is a miracle.
I would love to see an other season even if that is lower budget. I don't really understand why they didn't continue. They had everything to make an other season. :( This was the worst decision of Netflix. An other season would have been less expensive. I'm so devastated that they just cancelled. They should have know that this kind of genre is not for everyone and calculate with their expectations. Everyone who watched it liked it or became a fan.
How to Build a Sex Room (2022)
Great show in its genre
I don't understand the "I loved the show! 7/10" ratings. No, you can't compare to the Fight Club because it's an interior design show. It's unique, and heartwarming with great characters. Everything and everyone was so wholesome in it, despite the fact that there were BDSM elements too. The whole show presented a very interesting side of humanity, but it felt real and effortless. Great job!
