I wasn't expecting much from this movie. I picked it randomly from a stack of DVDs. Perhaps the fact that i was not expecting much out of it made me like it more than if i had expected a good film. It moves a bit slow at 1st but once you pass the 1st 15 minutes you are hooked. Or at least i was. I'm not sure where the movie was film but it is a great location, perhaps even perfect. Unfortunately like the other person commented the sound was average at the most. That really drops points, the sounds of the cats are extremely annoying. I also think that they didn't do more to portray the sounds of the beautiful environment of the locations where the movie was film. The acting was great considering it was a bunch of young actors. I did not like the ending at all. It leaves you with many questions. To wrap it up, worth watching despite many drawbacks. Sofia Espinozas performance was the best acting in the movie so go watch the movie now!

This movie has great acting but with a story that is so-so, the acting becomes irrelevant. This movie is about the boring lives of ugly prostitutes in Spain... in Spain...why not France? or Mexico? or Japan? Don't get me wrong i don't have anything against Spain but i think this movie in other countries it would have been able to touch more aspects that would have added more relevance to it. I can totally understand why a lot of people like this movie, the acting was very good and the soundtrack was amazing to say the least. Not exactly great music but it is music that gets you into the story and isn't that what soundtracks are for? Overall it was an okay movie, the acting makes it worth watching even if at the end you are left with a question mark. Not because it was thought provoking but because the story as a whole really feels empty.

This movie is quite possible the worse movie i have ever seen. Me being a native from the area wanted to see this really bad and what i got was a total disappointment. The acting is awful, the story is ridiculously lame, and the locations of the movie are not well thought. I have been to Juarez many times and what they show doesn't seems to portray what Juarez really looks like. The victims of the never ending tragedy happening in Juarez deserve better story tellers and better movies. They don't need stories or in this case a movie, that tries to find justice in Religion propaganda. This was a waste of time and money, assuming they used some. I say this is definitely in the top 10 of worse movies ever.

This movie was so over-hyped by people that when you see it you expect a 9 maybe an 8 but what do you get? A mediocre movie that maybe if you are nice to it you will give it a 7. To me this was a 6, the stories are weakly linked and the sex scene had no reason to be there along with the Japanese girl getting naked. Nevertheless, i will say the acting was good. The locations of the film were good as well. I did thought the scrambling of the stories was overused a bit too much. Overall i did liked it but I wasn't impress at all. So to wrap this up. It was an okay movie but not as great as most people say. I'm a harsh critic. what can i say?
