30 Rock: Mrs. Donaghy (2011)
Season 5, Episode 11
9/10
The best of the fifth, so far.
21 January 2011
Warning: Spoilers
After a month and a little more, 30 Rock came back. And it was great. This season has been better than the last one, with episodes like "When it rains, it pours" and "College" among the funniest. The humor it's still quick, and fresh, and sometimes you get scared of missing part of the dialogue because you haven't finished laughing. And this week's episode lived up to the expectations that come with the weeks when no new episodes are on the air.

The relationship between Liz and Jack will be remembered as one of the best in any comedy series. "Mrs. Donaghy" makes you laugh out loud, and at the same time manages to take you, in a few minutes, through the four and a half years this two characters have lived with each other in their lives.

One of the best episodes of the series.

The Good Wife: Threesome (2009)
Season 1, Episode 9
8/10
Great Julianna Margulies
10 October 2010
Warning: Spoilers
This episode of "The Good Wife" is one of the best I have seen so far. The appearance by the most important partner of the firm was a good way to develop the plot into this episode. And of course, that the very same person, whose work built up the firm, demands to be represented by Alicia was the perfect equation to start the episode.

The acting by Margulies is excellent. She's more emotional here, and much more interesting to see, than in the pilot, when it all started. She had scenes with her kids, her mother-in-law, her husband, her client, Will, Kalinda. This actress had a chance to shine with almost every possible character in this episode, and she did a wonderful job with all of them.

And finally, a few words to those complaining about the term "Muslim music". The only one who uses that term, to talk about what Zach was listening to in his room, is his grandmother, the very same character who thinks that he should go to church more often because he was with a girl in his room. And even when she tells his mother about this, Alicia can't help but laugh, almost like she wasn't a bit concerned. Think about it.

Six Feet Under: Pilot (2001)
Season 1, Episode 1
10/10
Great
27 February 2009
This episode, the first one of the series, is simply great. I began watching it a few days ago, and I think this is one of the greatest things there have been in television. The pilot episode doesn't get boring at any time, and keeps you awaiting for what happens in the next scene.

The characters are probably among the best I have seen in a television program. It reminds you of the film "American Beauty", also written by Alan Ball. The freak mother, with their sons: the runaway, the repressed one, the teenage girl. The initial situation (the death of the father), unleashes one situation after the other, told in an excellent way, and the inclusions of phony ads makes way for the laughs, although there are several moments that will make you laugh. The performances can't get better, neither the script.

Great.

24: Day 7: 3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. (2009)
Season 7, Episode 8
10/10
Best so far.
13 February 2009
Definitely this episode is the best since season 7 started. It had me on the edge of the seat the entire time. The first 14 minutes just flew by as the phone call President Taylor received was one of the most dramatic moments in the entire series. After that, it really keeps you in suspense. One character in particular faces a moral dilemma after realizing what must be done in order to save another person. And this is performed in a fantastic way.

This season is proving to be a fine one. Far is the sixth, with its non-original plots. Maybe season 7 will reach the magnificence of the second, but it's too soon to tell.

In the meantime, let's hope it goes on like this.

The Prestige (2006)
8/10
An intelligent and entertaining film
30 January 2009
Over the past few years, there have been many movies which proved that is possible to combine both action and a good storyline. The Prestige is a clear example of that.

Christopher Nolan has made a very good movie that doesn't get boring at any time, and keeps you awaiting for more. The script is great, and the acting doesn't disappoint. Christian Bale is definitely the one who gives the best performance. Nevertheless, the rest of the cast does a pretty good job as well.

It gives a clear definition of what the world of magic is made off.

If you haven't see it yet, I strongly recommend you to do so.
