Not Necessary
20 February 2009
This movie was on the pay channels today and I had nothing to do so I had it on. This has to be the worst football movie ever made. This has to be one of the worst movies period. The premium service on the cable system has a rating system, and they gave 2 stars out of 4. This movie isn't even a half a star. Bad acting, Scott Bakula sinks as usual, Larry Miller?? Sinbad, couldn't act if he tried. Rob Schneider's one liners completely stunk. Fred Thompson should be embarrassed that he was even in this movie. The only saving grace for this movie was the hope you would see Kathy Ireland nude in the shower, not even close. A complete waste of time and of film. If we could give a negative number, minus 9.

The Dead Zone (1983)

Better Than The Book
25 May 2005
This movie has been running on the pay channels lately, and I have been watching repeatedly. I saw this movie years ago, and I never took the time to read the book. Therefore, I picked up the book and read it. I have read probably 25 Steven King books and in every case the book is always better than the movie, here was the first. The movie The Dead Zone is by far superior to the book. The book of course has more detail and characters, but the book's characters are boring. Martin Sheen as Greg Stillson was a perfect fit. The changes in the story, (without giving away the movie), where much better in the movie than in the book. A fun suggestion, read the book, and then watch the movie. See if I'm right…….

The Goodbye Girl (2004 TV Movie)

My first "Zero"
23 January 2004
I've never seen a remake that was done worse than the Goodbye Girl. Jeff Daniels as Elliot stunk. The part where he is meditating and going "Whoo boo boo boo" is suppose to sound like god, not Curly from the Three Stooges. There was nothing between Daniels and Heaton, no fire, no attraction, nothing. They went for all of the same lines and got nothing. On a scale of 10 I've never found a zero until now. What a joke. I do not see why they would remake this movie in the first place, Richard Dreyfuss is a very hard act to follow. Not to mention copy, Jeff Daniels should stick to movies he can handle. Like Dumb and Dumber.
