Brahmastra Part One: Shiva (2022)
Great VFX, Attention to detail, Action scenes, Forced Songs, Bad dialogues
Don't miss the starting, it's Damm good.
In terms of VFX, this is the best of Indian cinema. Action scenes are good. Background score is good. Performances are above average, expected little more. The story makes you feel its a Bollywood movie as Love plays an important role and that's fine but the way it's executed is bit old Bollywood type. Songs are good but they feel forced and stretched. There should be no songs at all if you are representing this kind of story. Like imagine Captain America singing "Mujhe dance ka bhoot chada". If you want to keep songs then just keep them as a background score totally and don't strech them, just 1 minute is enough for a song. Dialogues are really bad. You will feel it for sure. I never felt it any film. Dialogues could have been much much better. But overall if you consider Bollywood, this looks like an original story, iam. Not sure if it is. But kudos to Bollywood and yes it does look like of Hollywood level. Giving it 7 stars, 10 Minus 1 for forced songs, minus 1 for bad dialogues and minus 1 for average performance and the way the story focuses on the love story. The love story part could be less shown.
Qismat 2 (2021)
#SuperDirection #GreatActing #WowMusic
A great movie if you watch it as a separate movie from qismat. If compared then the first one would be better than this one by a slight margin as that was made for all type of audience. This is kind of an experiment again, it's made specially for people who love heartbroken stories, or love stories. Only negative i found was in the 2nd half for about 15 20 min it feels a bit more stretched. Some elements in the movie can only be understood by young generation who have gone throw similar kind of situations or they know what happens when one loves someone actually. This is where other people feel disconnected from the movie. Just like Ae dil hai mushkil. I'm. Not saying that its the same story but there are a few similarities. Hence many people find ADHM irrelevant but people who have gone through those situations can connect more and feel it. Acting: 10/10, Music: 8/10(Qismat's Music was Slightly Better But this one is also great) Direction: 9/10, Story: 8.5/10.
