An updated version of Cinderella that includes diversity, humor, wit and modern pop music. No wonder the conservative reviewers have given it such low marks. Don't let their low ratings fool you. This is a fun movie. Camila Cabello did a great job and anyone who questions the quality of her voice is just tone deaf. And like everything he touches, Nicholas Galitzine shines here. He's a dual threat with great acting and a very good voice. Billy Porter is a lot of fun as the Fabulous Godmother. His role may be just one of the components of this movie that angers the right and prompted them to rate the movie with 1's. That's a shame, because he's great in this role. I also enjoyed Minnie Driver as the queen.

I don't understand some of the negative comments about this show being too diverse. Have you been to high school lately in America? It IS diverse. And that's a wonderful thing. That's our strength, that's our future. This show is very entertaining and positive. Anyone who went to a high school with diversity like this is far ahead of those who didn't because that's the real world that you must survive in, thrive in, and enjoy. Life is too short for hatred of people different from you. The acting is pretty good and so is the music. I'm looking forward to what this series holds going forward. Grease is the word.

This is my first review on IMDb. I had to write a review for "Severance" because season 1 has blown me away. The finale episode had me on the edge of my seat the whole time, thinking "Oh my Gosh!, Oh my Gosh!" Best TV series I've watched in a very long time. If Apple keeps putting out shows like this one, "Servant" and "CODA", then it's well on its way to becoming a powerhouse streaming service. A quality boutique streaming service like none other.

I was reluctant to watch this, mostly because it is a "musical". Turns out I apparently like musicals, lol. Very glad I watched it. Very entertaining and made me think about the 9/11 tragedy from a different, more personal level. Love the cast of this play. And it kind of makes me want to visit Newfoundland.
