Hart to Heart (2021)
Stop interrupting your guests!
In the beginning of the Hart/MacFarlane interview, Hart makes a point to say he is here to make the guest comfortable. He then proceeds to interrupt Seth constantly. Hart comes off aggressive. He was incredibly rude to his guest.
I've watched a few of his interviews prior to this. He has no ability to conduct a smooth interview. He needs to shut up and let people talk. Watching this interview was painful and I feel bad for Seth.
Deep Water (2022)
Oof. This is a rough watch.
This movie has no plot. No story. The acting is stiff. Ana de Armas character was poorly written and with out intention. Ben Affleck's character is unbelievable and boring, yet he is the only thing of interest in the film. That's saying something. Not one question is answered throughout the film. Even the title is wimpy. "Deep Water" ....uh, the situations where water is involved there is nothing deep about it. Also, after Affleck's character explained how snails can be deadly, I really thought there would be something stemming from that insight. Nope, just a dude who likes snails for whatever reason. I'm really surprised this movie was made and made this badly.
And Just Like That... (2021)
Not what I was prepared for
The last two years have been rough for all of us. I was so excited this dropped today. On a day that is the hardest day of my life coincidentally. I won't spoil anything, but this new series is sad. It's heavy and dark. I need the original four to make me laugh. I don't want to highlight we are all aging and struggling.
Selling Sunset (2019)
Confused
The new season that dropped today was clearly filmed during Covid. It would have been interesting if they mentioned that or the challenges they faced in LA selling real estate at that time. It makes the show seem really fake not including world events that affect everyone.
You (2018)
It's goi g downhill.
I really enjoyed season one and two. Ugh, so season three...what happened? Joe is barely Joe anymore. The character Love is absolutely painful. She damn near has bloodlust with her murderous needs. They have a kid that doesn't seem to factor into their lives much. Love being rich just makes the story more unbelievable. I am noticing they are regurgitating the story from previous seasons. Therefore, it's predictable and uninteresting. If another installment of this show is made, please do not bring Love back in some freaky way. She really ruined it for me.
I Know What You Did Last Summer (2021)
I don't care what you did last summer...
....because apparently all you did was a ton of drugs. While this episodic cry for help was politically correct (at times), it was tragic. I'm sure the creators were trying to reinvent the wheel with this dumpster fire, but sometimes you need to stay true to the original. That's how horror works. Reboots need a connection to the initial conception. Personally, the character that dies needs to have no connection to the group that contains the murderers. The parents should have no storylines. It's too much watching mommy and daddy throwing precious a grad party complete with blow in the bathroom. Come on. The story has always been unbelievable since the 90's, now it's just plain sad.
