Add Gary Oldman and Gerard Butler to the list of people doing straight to VOD type of movies. Must be a lot of money in it, this movie is a pretty polished product but lame in every department otherwise.

Definitely disappointing and too long but not bad. Very watchable. Some sets looks a little cheesy but the big budget is visible. More of a comedy than anything else. Special effects are good and the movie is unique in some ways. Now that it has flopped, expectations are low and that's the best way to go into this movie.

Lots of talent involved but seems like a scam show like from The Producers. Boring beyond belief. Never understood his cult following but I've liked Murray in plenty of things, this is not his thing by far. Takes more charisma to carry a show like this. Does anyone care about George Clooney?

Trying so hard to turn into Transformers, not sure if that is a step up or down. Showing pictures of Idris Elba doesn't make up for the lack of his talent. He made the first movie watchable. No saving grace here. Everything by the numbers and there ain't many of them.

It's easy for movies like this to suck. Period pieces are not easy. They're not trying to be Braveheart, story is told on a slightly smaller scale. Heard a lot of talk about some full frontal but didn't notice anything. Ending is a little underwhelming but good movie overall. Wouldn't watch it again, ever.

Kamal Hassan often has good ideas but the execution is not always best. Hindustani was another example. Good story/characters but so long and tedious at times. 30 minutes shorter and this could've been great. Special effects were impressive for that era but now look lame. Good effort and worth a watch if you are a fan of Kamal's work.

Some good veteran actors make it worth a watch. Well made, editing is the weakest link, but just missing something. The nobodies are decent actors. Funny in parts at best. Some sound effects are too cheesy. Plot is typical desi love story with families not getting along for one reason or another. But none of that matters. Just put it on and do some chores while you watch.

Gong sounds like a piano. Sound effects are on a different level. Nice to see Mahesh Anand after so long. I thought Amrish Puri died before Rakhi Sawant came to be. Hodgepodge of scenes. Ridiculous costumes. I love how they pull off a one armed Kiran Kumar. Horse subplot is hilarious.

The sets are hilariously fake. AstroTurf! One saving grace is some self aware jokes. Arshad Warsi makes it watchable but man has he let himself go. if you don't see the twist coming, maybe you should have your head checked. I hope they don't make more. Ajay Devgan seems too serious of a guy to be doing this. His paycheck must be huge. I'm losing faith in mankind.

I'm about 70 minutes in right now. It's ok to do cameos. It's ok to milk a good thing. It's ok to disappoint once in a while. But whatever this movie was, is not acceptable. Syfy channel level quality of VFX, some actors are horribly miscast. Reminds me of that other Made in China fiasco called China Salesman.

Test screenings? It is unbelievable how disappointing this movie is. Did no one watch it before releasing it. Special effects are shockingly bad. Transformers were also horrible but the visuals were always amazing and impressive. There is no saving grace here unfortunately. It's watchable in passing is the best I can say.

Not even a movie. Seems like a bad dream. Washed up familiar faces, I don't know how they even afforded that. Acting was beyond a joke and the funniest thing about this piece of crap. Unwatchable.

So nice to see movies like this get made, what a rarity. I don't know how Anurag Kashyap keeps producing movies, they are rarely successful but often great. Mukkabaaz was another recent example. This movie is realistic but still manages to be a fantasy in ways. It's not an action movie like I expected but still a great watch. They should make a sequel but unlikely due to the box office run this one had. Chavanparash video is great, check it out on YouTube.

Acting is amazing by almost everyone. Matthew M. has never been better. Nice to see Gina Gershon doing what she does best. Thomas Haden Church is wasted but who cares. Emile Hirsch is a good actor but needs to start picking better roles. What was he doing in The Savages. Movie is just 4 people for the most part. Plot is something you've seen many many times before but it's not even worth remembering since it doesn't matter. Movie seems more like a character study. For some reason it was listed as action in some places. It's definitely anything but action. Very slow and never really gets going. I kept waiting for it to turn into a Blood Simple type movie but it never goes anywhere. Lots of muff but I give this movie no luff.
