Great sequel
Ian Carmichael returns as Stanley windrush with great support from peter sellers as the shop steward nearly all the cast from privates progress returns in this great classic from a time when Britain was great in the fifties and sixties
Private's Progress (1956)
Classic comedy at its best
Love this film Ian Carmichael gives a great performance as windrush a bit like Kenneth Connor in carry on sergeant similar characters both army misfits who muddle their way through life with comedic results
Please Turn Over (1959)
One great classic
This film shows why we were good at making comedy a classic film with a great cast I love watching as it takes me back to a quiet time not like today where life is fast

Michael Caine at his best
This is better then the remake Michael Caine great as carter who goes to Newcastle to find out who murdered his brother love the role Bryan Mosley played a great film which gets better the longer you watch it ruthless great gangster film of the70s

Great 70s series
Glynn Owen wasn't suited to the role of Edward Hammond Patrick o Connell played the role with warmth and feeling glyn played a better role later on as jack Rolfe in Howard's way both great actors have this on DVD Colin baker as the slimy businessman Paul merroney another great actor great story about the haulage business

Patrick Connell went into the brothers Colin Gordon was in many films Andrew Sachs faulty towers Derek Fowler heartbeat great actors black and white series the series was well known I was too young to appreciate series like this I'm now watching it at the age of 56 and I find series like this magical
Dateline Diamonds (1965)
Great sixties classic
There's a song in this i wish I could get on cd first taste of love by rey Anton love this film l was 4 when it came out I got it on DVD they should have had a soundtrack released love all the pirate radio scenes as I love sixties music love a lot of these great sixties musicals great all star cast kenneth cope William lucks patsy Rowlands just three of the great cast the chantells and a great early appearance of Kiki dee

Great sixties classic
I think if I'm right this is the Ian Gregory who worked with Joe meek great all star cast a film wouldn't be complete without kenneth Connor love frank truly Thornton it's a bit dated but typical of the great music films such as dateline diamonds and I've gotta horse I'm a fan of sixties music and music films
You Must Be Joking! (1965)
great film
sixties comedy at its best in the same vein as the fast lady and please turn over its similar to the carry ons where they try to get out of certain situations love the film it must have been filmed late in the year because of the weather some of the things are no longer made good director in michael winner there was a load of great comedies in the 50s and 60s this rates greatly in my top ten he did some great work later on some of the stars should have been more recognised then they were to me it is comedy at its best as i said there was a lot of great films comedy and drama films i wonder why it has not been remade it would be interesting to see who would have portrayed all the parts it is one of my favourite all time filmsthis is not rubbish I think it is very funny it could have been adapted to be a carry on
