"Resident Alien" is a wonderfully quirky show, as much inspired by "Northern Exposure" as "My Favorite Martian", with human characters that, like Harry (the alien), become more human over time.
I don't usually write reviews, but sweet jesus, the handful of harsh reviews from simplistic backbiters is annoying.
Not every show has to be written for the lowest common denominator and no show can possibly appeal to everybody.
You don't enjoy the show's quirks? Fine: move on. Let those of us who enjoy it continue to do so without dragging it down. You'll doubtless find the kind of fare you're looking for every night on the networks.
