Lift (2024)
One and done
So many plot holes! Can someone explain to me the villain? And how the team came across him and doesn't like him? Why did the female lead quit the police job?
They really did all that robbing and made over a whole jet and then when they're asked "can you do this?" They're always so doubtful. Like really??! Clearly y'all have skills!
Never again will I watch it. Left me so confused. Had funny parts but none were from Kevin hart. Cliche one liners, predictable ending, random parts. Just a no. I have no idea what I watched. Lol it feels like I took a nap during the movie, but nope I was up the whole time.
Sweet Life: Los Angeles (2021)
Too much "drama"
The concept of the show is great, young black people trying to make it in the business world; however the drama over shadows it. They're reaching for a storyline and trying to stay relative. Seems too scripted.also, I have no problem with cussing but really? They cuss too much like they're trying to be cool or something. I think they need a better cast for a show like this. I really wanted to like it but every episode just seemed to hard to watch. Each character seems like they're trying to hard to be a character and not their nature selves. I mean I can see why people like the show but i don't see how people are giving this show 10/10 lol.
Ambulance (2022)
Not bad
I don't get all the bad reviews. I liked it. Had action, comedy, suspense with some plot twists. Some of the acting was a bit much but overall it was good. I like how they didn't drag out background storylines and got right to the action.
Triggered (2020)
Ehhh....
Not horrible but they talked way too much and some lines where just so stupid! Like "you're a left swipe on tinder" which is used as an insult lol. The idea was cool but the overall movie not so much.
However I will give credit to the little plot twists and the overall dark, nighttime setting.
Escape Room: Tournament of Champions (2021)
Kept my attention
Started off strong. Didn't waste anytime getting to the plot and I loved it! Better than the first.
