9-1-1: Past Is Prologue (2021)
i just have one question; how dare you?
I loved this episode!! At the beginning. The two girls in the car, flirting, and then at the end when they're still at the hospital together, SO cute!! I was obsessed with them. And then the fire fam banter in the truck-it was like getting back to original 9-1-1 and their found family theme. It was going soooo great and it was getting up there to be my favorite episode of the season. Well, up until they tried fleshing taylor out. Then you lost me. I cared more about the two girls from the oil spill than i did about taylor's sad story. STOP forcing taylor down our throats. Megan is a actually a very bad actress, she ruins the immersion that comes with watching a drama. Taylor and buck have zero chemistry. The entire "love" scene felt awkward and forced. If someone told me they loved me like that and then threw asparagus at me, i'd be hard pressed to share the sentiment. Poor buck is at his lowest point right now, so of course he's going to cling to the only person that's around. His mental state can't handle losing another person right now.
Their relationship has been a train wreck from the beginning. Ever since she kissed him and ran in 4x14. When she was upset that he didn't run after her while his best friend was laid up in the hospital in a coma. She is extremely selfish and i feel like if her character were to stick around, 9-1-1 will be losing masses of viewers. Why would you keep a character around that is universally hated and hindering fans ability to enjoy the show...
