Pushing Daisies: Corpsicle (2007)
The bodies in the snowmen were brilliant!
In this episode of Pushing Daisies, Chuck deals with the pain of Ned telling her that he killed her father. Ned is devastated because he didn't mean to 'kill' her father. So Chuck lives with Olive until she stops 'hating' Ned. Chuck knows it is about time for her aunts to get a pie, but she doesn't want Ned to find her, so she sends Olive to go make the pie. But Chuck tells Olive the anti-depressant in the bottle is vanilla. While baking the pie, Olive tastes the 'vanilla' and thinks it is to weak, so she puts the whole bottle in the pie! Later, Emerson Cod investigates these 'corpsicles' in a boy's yard waiting for a heart transplant. The first murder victim had 'KIND' indented across his forehead. They have to find the killer before more social workers turn up dead in this brilliant episode!
Father of the Bride (1991)
The could not have portrayed it better...
Steve Martin with Diane Keaton and new-comer Kimberly Williams-Paisly shine in Father of the Bride. Picture your daughter (Kimberly Paisly) coming home from Eorope and telling you she's engaged... you can scream... now! George and Nora Banks (Steve Martin and Diane Keaton), being the parents of the bride, the must organize and pay for the wedding. So, they decide to hire a wedding planner. And J-Lo wasn't available, so they got the crazy Franck (Martin Short) and his team to plan it for them. With picking out a cake, Meeting the in-laws, finding a church, and making sure the swans arrive on time starts making George go crazy! If you have had a daughter get married, you will find that this movie is not far from the truth! If you can find a happier, sweeter, and lovable movie, (which ain't possible!) please tell me!

Evan Almighty (2007)
Good, Clean, Family Fun! (even with a Christian's point of view!)
Evan Baxter (Steve Carell) just won an election to be Congressman, and he moves away to 'Prestige Hills' with his wife Joan (Lauren Graham)and his three sons. Shortly after, a tool box mysteriously appears on his porch. And the next day lumbar appears! Animals from all over start to follow him around. God (Morgan Freeman) tells Evan that there is going to be a flood, and he wants him to build an ark. His hair on his head and face start to grow so rapidly, that as soon as he shaves it off, it grows right back! What is he to do? God soon tells him that there is a dead line as well. September 22 mid-day. Will Evan be able to make the ark before the deadline, trust God, and convince his family to help him? As a Christian, we were not sure what it would be like. Take your family, church, everyone to see this wonderful movie! This movie is good, clean, family fun. (It's very funny too!)
