Family Feud (1999)
Eh
It's funny, and that's pretty much about it. Without Steve Harvey, this show isn't worth watching. He pretty much carries the show. The show isn't very diverse either. Two games? That's it? It should get new ideas. It's certainly not a bad show, but this show could be much better than it currently is.
Her (2013)
Sentimental
I'm not too neurotic as an individual, but this one was a punch emotionally. It asks very big questions and Joaquin as always, brings a phenomenal performance. Can AI feel love? Will the technological singularity be the extinction of humanity? If these questions are too terrifying for you, then I don't recommend this film. But if you like deep questions paired with an emotional story, then it's worth watching. The only criticism I have is that the ideas might've been a little too simple.
The Flash (2014)
Fading away
I would say that the first 2 seasons of this rivals some of the best material on Arrow, but after season 3, it just didn't excite me anymore like it used to. They just use the same formula, same plot, same problems every season. It doesn't feel like any of the characters grow or develop at all. They just stay in the same mentality every episode. It feels predictable, bland, dry, and like it's drifting away into mediocrity in a stream of a forgotten river.
The upsides would be that the first 3 seasons are the best takes on The Flash I've ever seen, and Grant Gustin deserves praise for his early performances despite the writers limiting his reach (e.g. Going back in time to save his parents). Maybe when this show ends I'll look back at it in retrospect and analyze it again, but it most likely won't escape the many criticisms it already has.
Arrow (2012)
Solid show overall
Looking back in retrospect, this wasn't a bad show at all. It has a lot of filler material though. The only seasons here that are a must-watch are seasons 1, 2, and 5. Everything else is just okay. Nothing special. Either you can just watch seasons 1 and 2 and then leave, or get to season 5, which is wedged between 2 very mediocre seasons: 4 and 6. I suggest you pick the first option. As an entire series, it's pretty good. Nothing here is awful. It has severe flaws as a whole, but when speaking on individual seasons, 1, 2, and 5 are all fantastic.
