American Conspiracy: The Octopus Murders (2024)
Not factual with all elements of the story
I lived through the event in Martinsburg WVA when it occurred and many facts that concluded suicide were left out of this documentary. The series doesn't tell you he was being treated for depression over a period of two plus years. The story doesn't tell you that many of his alleged encounters and other events were proven to be made up or better put... lies.
He interacted with several people in Martinsburg when he was staying at the Sheraton and they would report a Lonely depressed individual who appeared somewhat detached from reality. The autopsy showed that only one of the wrist wounds was deep enough to severe a tendon and all others were superficial.
If you want to investigate a better story in Martinsburg about the same time look up Martinsburg City Councilman Mile Lewis and you will then see a real sinister person and how unbalanced our justice system really is! Check it out, I promise you won't be disappointed !
Waco: American Apocalypse (2023)
Unbalanced
The episodes do not accurately reflect actual events and for those too young to remember the actual event will formulate an inaccurate view of the incident.
It was obvious to almost everyone that the government had overreached and was abusing their authority during the actual siege of the compound.
This is an example of how history can be tweaked and manipulated to change the facts of what actually occurred. I rate this at 1 star because it was a lazy attempt at piecing together a story based on a slanted view from participants that have a vested interest in spinning their personal and professional involvement in a tragedy that should have never happened!
Gaslit: Will (2022)
Not an accurate portrayal!
Watergate was not as colorful as this series portrays, the G Gordon Liddy perspective is meant to belittle a man who may have had his faults but was a true American icon who isn't accurately portrayed.it appears this is based on a liberal bias and not factual circumstances!
Better Call Saul: Axe and Grind (2022)
Sadly another dud!
Just funny reading reviews and seeing others trying to find something more than what we just watched, just plain drivel that gives no momentum or real context to the series. All series run out of new material and concepts and I am thinking that's what we are seeing here.
It was good while it lasted and it's truly sad to watch BCS die this slow death. "All good things must end" and if this is the best they have to offer for two consecutive episodes then it can't end soon enough.
Better Call Saul: Black and Blue (2022)
Does the series no justice
Terrible episode almost had to turn it off. Poorly done! No real context added to the plot line almost as if someone was given the opportunity to writs an episode with no BCS wit or savvy!
