Timing was so perfect...only a few days away from the independence celebration..

The theme and genre was longed by the market...

The marketing effort has managed to create such an awareness and expectation to get people flocking in with such level of curiosity and anticipation...

The idealism and all that jazz are there..

But...this motion picture failed in delivering its promises...

Yes...we are all waiting for some quality local pictures to come to our cinemas..

Casts were those of high quality...

But, could I believe the way the plot was carried out...after one hour I haven't even seen any war scene; and this was suppose to be a war movie..

cinematography was awful...they're keep overusing close-ups even for scenes that needs something like a bird-eye's view or something with a broader angle..

Storyline was way too cliché and the dialogs are all jumbled...

I think what they really wanted to show was how that different colors of the archipelago managed to gone through all their differences, joined together by a noble cause and coming out as a band-o'-brothers..

I can't believe this how this movie had ruined such a perfect occasion and wasted so many talents (on and off screen as well).

For goodness sake...work on the storyline, people!!

At first, looking at the way the managed the poster and all..I thought this would just be another copy-cat movie (well, we had to admit, neighboring countries cinema are way earlier in successfully creating such motion pictures)

But...

All the fighting scheme, supporting casts, location, technicalities...this movie is surely one helluva fresh breeze into Indonesian Cinema.

Last night, I was literally stunned and amazed by especially the actions and plot this movie had brought.

The spirit of Nationalism, Humanism and Martial Artistry is carried out at its best!!

Can't believe my own two hands when I clapped them together with the whole theater last night...

Surely, one step toward a better cinema for Indonesia..

Bravo!!

Yipeeee...finally, the adventure of Tanguy et Laverdure is on the screen!! I've been a dedicated fan of the comic series and now falling even deeper for the movie.

and it did not fail me even in the slightest moment all along the movie..all're excellent from the beginning till the end.

unlike Top Gun, where the story is more focused on the "on ground - off the plane" scenes,excessive portion of unattractive romance scenes, absolute non-sense dogfights(Top Gun's climax was a single F14 against so many MiGs, where eventually the MiGs started playing "dumb and dumberer" and gone sissy - while in reality, these Soviet birds are much more competent than the American Cats!!!), Skyfighters gives you more than you can handle!! outstanding cinematography and realistic special effects stands the movie out.

okay, a bit lame on the drama etc, but that's not what you're looking for when you're watching action movies, right!? I guess the only one worth going on the 2nd place is "Flyboys"!!(played by the same guy that played the Goblin in Spidey movies) Lastly, so long Tom..guess you're too short to fly a fighter anyway...

If I put all of my favorites Indonesian films on the wall, "Berbagi Suami" would surely be on the very top.

The idea of intertwining characters; complete with their own unique encounter with polygamy - in so many different circumstances, that accidentally meets along the story is BRILLIANT!! Beautifully presented with precision timing that puts us in complete awe.

The film would surely stab the conscious so many Indonesians that either being involved within or even considering to get into the realm of polygamy.

A surely smart yet amusingly funny in a way, a film really worth watching.
