Turbo is the first Malayalam action film of 2024, written by Mithun Manuel Thomas and produced by Mammootty Company, directed by Vysakh. Mammootty's sincerity and dedication to cinema at this age is certainly commendable. Raj B Shetty - (who played the villain role)- you are a cool actor. The role of hero's mother played by Bindu Panicker is also very good. Anjana's performance was above average, but I don't rate it as good performance. This movie will continue even if there is no such sister character. So I don't know why Amina Nijam is there. Whatever it's a miscast and sorry to say she is not good in acting.

Regarding the film it's nothing but a pure fan movie. The first half has some funny elements but there is a lot of lag. The second part of the movie is all about hero's action, fighting, car chase and mass performance. As seen in Tamil or Telugu cinema, the hero is portrayed as someone with extraordinary strength and courage. Many scenes are impossible for anyone in human form to do.

Just think the logic of the action master that the hero who knocks down ten - fifty goondas at the same time gets blown away by the first blow of the villain? Graphics and VFX are too much. The car chases in the road seems bit over. It's a new modern car and the airbag was missing when it hit with a truck. The ending of the film clearly gives an indication that there will be a second part for the movie.

It can be said that this is a movie that will be loved by everyone who loves Mammootty. And it's a good watch for those who love movies more than an actor...

Mandakini is a comedy movie released this year (2024) in Malayalam.. It is a beautiful film directed by Vinod Leela for the first time by bringing together some new faces, social media stars and ordinary people who play the roles of supporting artists in Malayalam film industry. A full length comedy movie. A film that revolves around some interesting events related to the hero's wedding and first night. A movie with a total duration of only 2 hours and 7 minutes is over very quickly.

This is a film where female characters are given equal treatment along with male artists. All the ladies played their roles beautifully. Among the male artists, the standout performances are those of Althaf, Vineet Thattil, Jafar Idukki and Kutty Akhil. Unni, the brother-in-law character played by Vineeth, is a full-length laugher.

The cinematographer, script writer and editor and all deserve an applause. The background score in some scenes is quite good. I really liked it..It's a good movie to watch as a family. Some of the comedy scenes and dialogues in the movie are comedy scenes that will never be forgotten.

It is a film directed by Ajay Vasudev and produced by Gokulam Gopalan. The gist of the story is that when greed for money and love for the world combine with defiance of God, a person becomes a cruel animal. This is the story of a young woman who kills her own father, mother and brother and prepares to live comfortably.

The film's cameraman deserves a round of applause. I don't know why it was stuffed with unnecessary slow-motion scenes. All the beauty of Pullikanam Estate has been captured. I really liked Janakiram's last dialogue, "You who have killed your own father, mother and Koodapirappu are no longer fit to live on earth." The twist at the climax felt unnecessary.

This is a movie that shows the failure of Rajisha, the heroine of the film, even though there are many scenes for an actress to perform. In my opinion, Rajisha is not worthy to be called an actress if she is not able to bring all the emotions like happiness, anger, hatred on her face. At least expect a change in Rajisha's face when the actress realizes that she has killed her own brother. But that too was not seen. Rajisha's face always had a cruel expression.

The performances of actress Sita who played the role of Rajisha's mother, the emotions and expressions on her face were all very good. Manoj also portrayed the alcoholic father very well.

It's so boring that the villain is given unnecessary hype every time we see him on screen. Kunchacko Boban does not have enough scenes in this movie to say that he is the hero of this movie. In fact, this is a film where women had many acting possibilities. But while the heroine failed to perform in it, the heroine's mother acted well. The priest's role for the film's producer, the police search and clashes at the beginning of the film with alleged Maoist presence, is unnecessary. I don't know why there is a labor strike and police intervention in this movie.

Both the songs were average but the background music was very good. This is a perfect movie to watch once for those who claim to be fans of each actress and actor.

What makes me think is that this is a part of a person's experience rather than the acting of Prithviraj. Remembering Najib with gratitude who experienced more than this in his own life. Also remembering all those who were stranded in the desert and those who died like Najib.

If we combine director Blessy's foresight and vision with Prithviraj's sincerity and hard work, AduJeevitam is a visual treat we get on the silver screen. The editing and cinematography were the best.

It is certain that the character of Hakeem played by Gokul will remain a favorite in the minds of many. The music director also deserves a round of applause.

Considering the years of hard work and acting in the film, there is no wrong in giving an award to Prithviraj. This movie ranks above average and below very good in my opinion.

The theme of the movie is very nice and the director Antony Bhagyaraj did his best.

It's an action oriented crime thriller. The BGM, Music and camera was also upto the mark. Mr. Thilagan an Ambulance driver in a village tunred to be a murder and waiting to take revenge but it took 14 years.

Sorry to say the casting was not proper. All the male actors are did their best but the heroine Keerti was very boring. She just have one emotion in her face. Someone must tell her its the role of a police officer and the role requires some hardwork. The police uniform doesn't fit for her.

The comdey scenes of Yogi and Ravi combo was nice. The songs were unnecessary. The fight scenes are just average. As per my opinion it is just a one time watch. But don't expect like Thani Oruvan..

I will definitely kill him whoever made the trailer of this movie. Only because of this trailer I went to watch this film. It was such a nice trailer. It is a movie that I thought should not be seen considering the make of Honey Bee and Hi I'm Tony of Lal Jr.

I must say a very bad experience. A movie within a movie that tries to present some of the problems faced by a leading actor. Tovino did a good job in whatever role he was given. Suresh Krishna was also good. Some graphics, some VFX and some other items are shown together. Tovino in Thallumala was even better. Soubin, who teaches acting also did justice to his role.

Sorry Athijeevitha fans..According to me Bhavana should stop acting, there were only a few scenes for her, and that was not good at all. Social media and tik tok girls are far better to play a role of hero's girlfriend..I feel so sorry for her.

I don't recommend this movie to anyone.

It is a webseries with seven episodes and the main casts are Sunny Wayne, Vijayaraghavan, Ashokan and Nikhila Vimal. It is totally a fun film and you will get many moments to sit and laugh.

The plot of the movie is very simple and easy to understand. If you like movies Kunjiramayanam, Vellimoonga, etc you will like this too. Vijayaraghavan as a fake politician, Ashokan as an opposition leader, Nikhila as the Panchayat President, did their job nicely. However as per my personal opinion Nikhila is not upto the mark for performing comedy roles.

The Thiruvanam Babu is a another laughing elements😂. The story of some innocent people in a village is clearly portrayed in the screen very efficiently and neatly.

Cameraman did a good job, Director and music is also nice. I am sure the production will not cost more as it is a simple set.

You will like this and I recommend you to watch it.

Wow...What an awesome movie. TWIST TWIST TWIST... EVERYWHERE TWIST.... The first half of the movie is good compared to the second part. The plot is a police officer's investigation about a murder case and the story goes on ends up in the suspension of Anand.

Second Part is the rejoining and another investigation of an old murder case where he is able to find the culprit and there comes many suspense elements..

Direction, Background score and art is nice. Most of the parts shot in Kottayam districts itself and the camera man was nice.

Overall it's nice movie to watch and you will like this..

One of the worst movies ever made in the Malayalam industry. The worst part is the script and its direction.

Another flop is the actors part. No role for the heroine here, anyone can perform her role as there is no exceptional acting from her end.

Asif you are in this industry for so long and got the common sense to understand when someone tells you the story and all. Why did you act in this movie?

Sunny - The combo is very nice and we expected a lot but everything went on well.

Vinayakan played a good role in this film.

The climax was damn boring and I can't even think of it. Vinayakan shot 5-6 bullets to sunny to the chest and abdomen and 3 shots to Asif, and Asif fell down to a deep rock cliff. And the messege of the movie narrated as 'Greedy is not good'. It can be good if you wrap the movie here, but instead the heros reborn and they took the revenge..What is this yar?

I don't recommend this film and I request everyone don't waste your money and time.

When there is a great promotion happens it means that the movie is not up to the mark. This time also , same happened here. Frankly speaking DQ is not capable of doing Mass role. The actions are ok.. The background score of this movie was very interesting.. Shammi Thilakan deserve a special mention. Aiswarya Lakshmi is just average but at the same time Nyla was very disappointing.

After the interval, second part is very lagging. It's a gangster movie at the same time this film give some importance to love, family and attraction. Intro of the hero was very outstanding..

As my opinion I must say it's just an average movie which can be watched once.

One of the good action movie by a team of young blood. I must say the power packed action sequences and moves in the movie in lifting the malayalam film industry to a new level. I could watch one nice romantic song with some good dance moves of Shane in this movie which was up to the mark. Pepes Shane's and Neeraj's intro was very outstanding. Background score is average. Babu Antony's action is really missing in this movie. Comedy scenes are limited, but worth watching... Speaking about the performance of characters - Aima needs improvement as a mother, Mala Parvati doesn't have much to perform, Lal and Baiju was good. The villain roles in this movie was extraordinary..They did a great job.

Technical side, the editing of the movie is good. The art director deserves a good clap for this work.

12th Man is Jeethu Joseph's latest thriller film produced by Antony Perumbavoor. Another success in the career of actor Mohanlal. The story of 11 people who have been sincere friends for years. They booked a resort for the bachelor party of their batchmate. While playing cricket at the resort the ball hit the Lal's body and there comes the introduction of Lal in a very simple way. Lal is a very drunk and annoying person who is labeled as a friend of the resort owner.

In between the celebrations at night everyone plays a special game together. At the end of the game the story matters. A separation between everyone who had been very friendly until then. The wife of one of the underlings is murdered. The police are coming and the case is being investigated.

The story moves to a different level from the moment they finds out that the alcoholic -who annoys them during games and laughter, - Lalettan is a DySP. Lal puts everyone together at the resort and investigates the case. There are many, many twists that are exciting. Finds the killer in the crowd.

The editing is very good. Krishnakumar's writing is bit lagginh. There is no Malayalam song. Camera is just upto the mark. About the acting of casts, male characters are good especially Saiju. About the female charactors Priyanka is just ok. Anushree is very overbearing. Anu Sitara, Shivada, Aditi are below average. It would have been nice to have someone else instead of the actress Aditi. She was very boring in her role. Actress Leyona had nothing more to do.

In my opinion, famous actresses could be replaced by newcomer actresses. It will be a start for the newcomers and they will be acting even better.

The film focuses on different types of criminals in different cases in the cyber world, without a specific crime series, a particular criminal or underlying specific event, and the victims who fall victim to such cases. At the same time, it speaks very clearly about unemployment and the problems faced by temporary employees. There are those who have only heard of the cyber cell, and no one has a great grasp on what is going on there and how to catch criminals. Operation Java tells the story of that operation and java is just an operation in it.

My verdict - A must watch movie.

Like drishyam, its a successful murder coverup movie. As there is no option to give zero rating, I am giving it One star. And that one star is for Saiju Kurup and his acting.. The so called celebrities, miya Nayana and all doing ultra nonsense in the movie. Sijoy is another character, who failed in this movie. Miya plays the role of ASP Meera, a newly appointed police officer who already had IAS, and she went for IPS as her father was a retired Police Officer. The way senior officer Sijoy Varghese's character SP Nandakumar, offering her guidance and investigation tactics is the worst part. It might make you wonder whether Meera joined the police force straight after completing her Matriculation.

Nayana, another moving statue with only one expression throughout the movie. Script, dialogue, Music, BGM and cast except Saiju Kurupp is very bad and please don't invest your precious time in this movie.

My verdict - Utterly flop movie...

'Freedom Fight' is a Malayalam movie in the anthology category. It is a collection of five short films directed by five directors: Kunjila Masilamani, Geo Baby, Akhil Anilkumar, Jitin Isaac Thomas and Francis Lewis.

The story 'Geethu Unchained' directed by Akhil Anil Kumar came first of five. The film stars Rajisha Vijayan in the lead role and tells the story of a young woman named Geethu. Geethu also faces the problems faced by an average Malayalee girl. As per my opinion her acting was not upto the mark. Despite the passage of time, many parents are still reluctant to give their daughters freedom due to fear of society.

The second is the short film 'Asanghadithar'. The film focuses on the story of women working in Mittayi Theru shops. If one wants to urinate during long working hours they have to go to a hotel far away. That too in the name of drinking tea! It is common for shopkeepers to use toilet areas as storerooms. Working women do not receive any legal benefits but they could not think of any. What is the relevance of the rest where the basic needs are not met. The film shows the women coming together for the basic purpose of the toilet and the things that follow. The lead role by Srinda was extra ordinary and very good...

The third film, 'Ration', was directed by Francis Lewis. The story of this film is told through two adjoining houses. A happily sharing and caring neighbours, but one is a rich family and other one is a middle class family. One day the housewife in the rich family seeks help of the poor family to keep some extra Seer fish in their fridge for a day. The lady handed over it to their child and she kept it in the fridge, but forget to tell her mom. Without knowing it, housewife of poor family cooked Seer fish curry. The next day, when she realizes the mistake, the housewife in the poor family has to work hard to return the fish. A group of people in the society are destined to dream of many things, including Seer Fish.

The next film is 'Old Age Home' directed by Geo Baby. Starring Joju George, Rohini and Lali PM in the lead roles. The film shows the problems they face as they get older and their small desires. Joju can be seen in the picture very different from what we have seen so far. The film goes on to share some things to think about and understand beyond sight. All actors were very honest to their roles..

The last part of the movie was directed by Jitin Isac Thomas named Pra Thoo Mu.

The picture was prepared without color, and at first I did not understand why, but slowly realized. The film tells the story of septic tank cleaners. The director tried very hard to present their life well.

Freedom can be defined in many ways. In the anthology film Freedom Fight, five directors have presented it in their own way, adapting to the current situation.

Freedom Fight is able to deliver an average experience for me. Except the first part, all other four parts are found fruitful for me.

My verdict- Just one time watchable. Its not an entertainer, its a facts filled movie.

Written and directed by Sachi after 'Anarkali', 'Ayyappan and Koshy' tells the story of two men's hatred and enmity. The film stars Ayyappan Nair, an SI at the Attappadi police station, and Koshy Kurian, a retired Havildar of the Army. The theme of the film is a minor offense and the series of cases that follow.

In a word, it is an "Oradar" movie. 'Ayyappan and Koshy' will not disappoint Prithviraj-Biju Menon fans who have been waiting for full-length entertainment. The performances of both the best Malayalam actors are sure to satisfy their fans.

The music for the film 'Ayyappan and Koshy' is composed by Jakes Bijoy. The tribal song sung by a local woman named Nanchamma, who has the unique tribal heritage of Attappadi, has already gone viral. The music in the film also captures the wild geographical nature. Each frame of a technically superior film is sure to have a different viewing experience. Sudeep Ilaman is the cinematographer of the film.

The two main characters are going so fast that they can not withdraw from the competition between them. It is safe to assume that this competitive intellect is an expression of the ego within every human being. Many of the dialogues that these characters say are sharp but can not be said to be politically correct.

My verdict- A must watch...

Lucifer is a 2019 Malayalam thriller film directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film is scripted by Murali Gopi and produced by Antony Perumbavoor. It is the first film to be directed by Prithviraj. The film stars Mohanlal as Stephen Nedumpalli. The film also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Vivek Oberoi, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas and Indrajith Sukumaran in the lead roles.

In the Interpol office in Lyon, an official examines reports about Qureshi-Abram. An unknown man engaged in intercontinental trade. He received a message from the CIA on his computer, which he suspects of a diamond-and-gold nexus with the warlords of Africa, attached to the back image of a man taken in Istanbul on April 7, 2006. Officials dial Interpol's secure phone line and say: "Flag it. This is Abram. Qureshi-Abram".

PK, the giant of Kerala politics. The film unfolds through the death of the leader Ramdas and the subsequent coup d 'tat and intrigue by his successors to seize power. The film manages to keep Mohanlal in a beautiful way in every scene of the film. Without giving too much importance to the dialogues, Lal's mannerisms can be seen in many places in the film which create a stir in the theater.

The biggest highlight of the film is the beautiful frames. From the hilly village of Kerala to the snowy views of Russia, Lucifer has been captured.

My Verdict - A good entertainer..WATCHABLE.

The only thing that humans have been doing non-stop since they started walking on two legs is beating and killing each other, 'said Moosa Qadir, an elderly man in light of his age and life experiences. How dull is the young generation who stand on the sword in the name of hatred and enmity before this man.

Manu Warrier begins 'Kuruthi' in the context of Ibrahim (Roshan Mathew), who lost his wife and daughter in the catastrophic floods, and his lover Preman (Manikandan Acharya), who lost his wife, complete one year of those memories with nostalgia in their minds.

Sumathi (Shrinda), Prem's younger sister and Ibru's neighbor, who lost her partner, serves them colorful food. The love she carries in her mind for the introverted Ibru, she reveals to him on one occasion. Musa, the father of Kusata Ibru, who breaks down the barriers of religion, later asks his son why he should not make her his daughter - in - law.

From there, the film is led by a policeman and a defendant who break into Musa's house one night to seize those lives while their good neighbors and their relationship with human beings progress in an exemplary manner.

SI who seeks refuge at night. Without letting Sathyan (Murali Gopi) and the handcuffed accused Vishnu (Sagar Surya) down, Moosa and his family confront Sumathi, who joins them.

At the same time, another uninvited guest friend Kareem (Shine Tom Chacko) and his stranger Laikh (Prithviraj) make the situation worse. As the conflict unfolds, Sathyan Ibru's reassurance leads the film into a tug-of-war between right and wrong.

When provocation comes in many forms, even a mere country girl, Sumathi, picks up a gun. The thought of 'our group' enters her brain. Ebru, a staunch believer in God, persevered in his vows, despite various provocations to take up arms from Laikh.

When the film is full of scenes of tensions, tensions and conflicts between the two religions, the audience can decide what to accept and what to reject. When choosing, it is best not to just think of 'I am who I am'.

While the characters of Prithviraj and Murali Gopi are raising the star value of the film and performing their roles well, Mamukoya is announcing 'Hero Da' by beating the young actors. Moosa is the role that Mamukoya, who has been in Malayalam cinema for decades, has kept for the Malayalee audience from all the roles he has done so far.

Ibrahim is the most challenging character that Roshan Mathew has got in the roles so far. Roshan has handled this potential character very well. Sumathi has proved that Shrinda is not limited to the roles of 'Makeup Koodipoyo Chetta' and 'Teppukari'. 'Kuruthi' is a film in which actress Shrinda makes a comeback.

My verdict- need of this era...Must watch.

I don't know why the name is super Sharanya. The movie starts in a campus and gives us a good experience, but everything vanished in air soon...Mamita Baiju, a supporting role in the movie is far far better than heroine...Hero and his supporters are nice, there are some funny elements in the movie which are just one time watchable.
