Leonora's book was brilliant, the film utter disaster. Such a shame. After enjoying her book which was captevating and pageturning, despite The "cruelty" she sufflered from her parents. The film only rsembles the book the first 10 minutes. It makes mockery of our brilliant hardworking hospices. Do yourself a favour, it you have read the book, don't even consider to watch the film. The only positive thing I can say about the film is, the actor Jens Albinus who plays her father gives a very good performance, and it was nice to hear and see an old and popularitet popsinger from the sixties - Gitte Hænning.
