No Country for Old Men (2007)
well done and thrilling 7.5
Really liked the camerawork and the villian of the story. Very ruthless and truly portayed the unjust nature this world often acts. I found myself confused at times as the lack of dialogue and ton of action left me a little lost. I also enjoyed the unconventional nature in that their is no happy ending, or even really an ending.

Gisaengchung (2019)
Incredible movie/ending
I starting off a tad bored watching this movie. I really could not understand where this would go. Some plot points felt unnatural and just to introduce the plot.
However, the last half of this movie is truly special. The increidble cinematgraphy shines and a suspesnf moment quickly turns chaotic and then quickly heartwarming. This movie truly has it all.
Additionally, there is great social commentary on the rich family poor family dynamic. The poor families battle for a living with each other and anger driven from their situation spills over to the rich people.. The full meanjng of this I do not understand but I found it leaving me with much to think about.
Much recommended.
The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst (2015)
Must Watch
Id say its the best crime documentary ive ever watched.
Never seen a full life story told so well in conjunction with crimes
for one, it offers an amazing look at defense in texas trial, which leverages reasonable doubt to a degree that makes any murder without camera footage or a witness seem unconvictable
Additionally, a truly unrivaled cohesive glance at what changed this man and led him down his path. Great breadth in interviewing provides an incredible view of a truly unique human with ways of operating
great balance between understaing how this man came to be and the resulting familial emotions from his actions.
American Manhunt: The Boston Marathon Bombing (2023)
well done
Very well done and sad. Great storytelling and detailing of the events with lots of footage. One of the most overall well constructed documentaries ive seen.

The only thing that was missing for me was at times it felt like too many/irrelevant perspectives were offered that bogged down a tad bit from the actual story.
Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)
Decent
If you are a fan of marvel movies you will probably like it. Confusing parts of movie tho. Who is this super villian, why is he suddenly taking on his daughter? Not a lot of important stuff going on but some cool fighting scenes.
Girl in the Picture (2022)
Incredible Documentary
An amazing documentary with easily the best story telling I have ever seen. Cannot find a single aspect of the directing in the movie to improve. Did so much with how little evidence was in the case. Truly a sad story. To hear the story of this tortured woman and how the puzzle all eventually fit together was really well done. Timeline flowed effortlessly aswell. Recommended for people interested in the genre.
Taxi Driver (1976)
Good movie but confusing
I really enjoyed taxi driver. The story of a lonely and desperate man driven to madness after the one thing he thought he had vanished. Amazing ending sequence. A little confusing at times though, was getting a little lost with his current state and some odd details. 7.5/10.
Don't F**k with Cats: Hunting an Internet Killer (2019)
wild story but not told the best
I lvoed the story of luka magnotta but so much time was spent on these "amazing" facebook sleuths who accomplished god damn nothing and made a man commit suicide. Also just provided luka endless attention. I found the thing to be a little slow aswell but the end was fascinating and i mostly enjoyed it.
Jimmy Savile: A British Horror Story (2022)
interesting but unsatisfying
I found the build up of this troubled man who is living a public life with a deeply problematic and emotionless personal life to be interesting but that part seemed to last for too long and the actual revelations seemed rushed and slightly confusing for all the build up. Overall still interesting just not fully developed finish.
