SpongeBob SquarePants: Say Awww!/Patrick the Mailman (2022)
One episode was great and one was excellent!
Say Awww! Is a great segment. It's when Plankton builds a robot named Q. T.-Pi (Can't add the Pi symbol for some reason) to eat people up who says "Awww!" SpongeBob finds the robot after it eats Plankton for saying "Awww!" after Karen says "Don't forget to take out the trash." SpongeBob takes the robot in The Krusty Krab and he needs to wash his hands so he asked Squidward to look after the robot for him. After Squidward and the costumers of The Krusty Krab say "Awww!" to it, it turns into a giant monster who eats Squidward and the costumes and even Mr. Krabs. This segment was really funny and nostalgic because of a lot of characters returning from the past episodes and this episode may sound a little like the infamous "A Pal for Gary" and it has similar qualities but at least SpongeBob wasn't out-of-character in this episode. When SpongeBob finally gets everyone out of Q. T.-Pi, SpongeBob finds something that the robot could use its powers for good. It was use the robot for a Glove World ride. It is like "A Pal for Gary," but done right.
Patrick the Mailman was awesome and was the better one. It's when after Patrick crushes the mailman with his new rock, he takes over as the mailman and he lets SpongeBob be his postal pal. There are 3 things Patrick and SpongeBob need to deliver. 1. Squidward's turbo clarinet 2. A summons for jury duty for "Kevin" 3. Everything else to Old Man Walker. After They do all of that, They are out of mail and the decide to drive a mail truck. When the original driver notices that her truck was stolen, she and other mailmen try to get it back, but eventually, SpongeBob and Patrick go to a post office and they get delivered to the slammer. I think this episode is better than Say Awww! Because it's very funny, nostalgic, and action packed.
Overall: Say Awww! Gets a 9/10 and Patrick the Mailman gets a 10/10. Once again another set of great episodes that I would recommend to anyone.
SpongeBob SquarePants: The Big Bad Bubble Bass/Sea-Man Sponge Haters Club (2022)
"We don't mean SpongeBob any harm, we just can't stand him."
The Big Bad Bubble Bass is kind of similar to Patnoccio because Karen the fairy returns in this episode to narrate how Bubble Bass gets the Pigulon action figure from SpongeBob and Patrick. There was a whole lot of funny parts in this episode, especially the dangerous toys scene and when Bubble Bass calls SpongeBob "ScumBob." This was pretty interesting, funny, and a great parody of The Three Little Pigs. Well at the ending, at least Bubble Bass won that toy, but it was pretty destroyed. Well to be fair, he jugged, he glugged, and he belched SpongeBob's and Patrick's houses down.
Sea-Man Sponge Haters Club was also very interesting. It's about 5 people in a "We hate SpongeBob" club because SpongeBob ruins their lives.
Those 5 people are Squidward, Mrs. Puff, Plankton, Bubble Bass, and the mailman. This episode has wonderful animation, humor, and storytelling. The flashbacks from the past tells us what those people think about SpongeBob. Mrs. Puff thinks SpongeBob is a reckless driver, Bubble Bass thinks SpongeBob is an eating interrupter, Plankton thinks SpongeBob is a pest, and Squidward thinks SpongeBob is a meeting interrupter. I'm not so sure about the mailman though. He just said that he was coughing up SpongeBob's mail for weeks. I did like that reference to One Trick Sponge though and the episode was fun too. Not as good as Big Bad Bubble Bass, but I still like it.
Overall: Big Bad Bubble Bass gets a 10/10 and Sea-Man Sponge Haters Club gets a 9/10. These two are more great season 13 episodes that should be liked more than hate.
SpongeBob SquarePants: The Nitwitting/The Ballad of Filthy Muck (2019)
Yeah. It's awful.
Season 12 of SpongeBob is one of my favorite seasons but it has some failures and The Nitwitting is a good example of a failure. The plot was just bland and forgettable. It's when Patrick shows SpongeBob a club of dummies. It's really disturbing, dumb, uncomfortable, very gross, and not funny at all and don't even get me started on the spit jar scene. When the people remove their brains then they could join the club and after watching this, I feel like MY brain has been removed. And the part when The Ice Cream King from Patrick's Coupon won't let SpongeBob join the club anymore because he says that maybe people leave trash in trash cans because their pockets were full was just plain wrong. I have to admit that the part when SpongeBob was trying to say "I'm ready" was a little funny but it didn't effect the episode's quality in any way at all. It's not as bad as other Trashy episodes like Out of the Picture and Ink Lemonade, but it's still pretty bad.
Overall: This episode gets a 3/10
The ballad of filthy muck gets a 6/10.
The Patrick Star Show: Uncredible Journey/Host-a-Palooza (2023)
First: OK Second: Good
Uncredible journey was OK. Not one of my favorite of this show. I thought it would've been one of the best of the show because it referenced The Incredible Journey (Awesome movie that I would definitely recommend). But it was kind of a let down mostly because of the obnoxious crying from everyone (mostly Bunny) and it could've been better if was longer. At least it didn't have unfair GrandPat torture this time (he previously had tons of unfair torture in Shrinking Stars). I have to admit that Rube Goldfish narrating was very AMAZING and the animation makes the episode look so much like season 3 in my opinion.
Host-a-Plooza on the other hand was quite good. Now unlike Uncredible Journey, there was no obnoxious crying this time. It's when after Squidina injuries Patrick, everyone tries to replace him so that the audience will get to stay. The whole reminded me of Mid-Season Finale where it somewhat reminds me of The Muppet Show, which was a good thing. The only thing I didn't like was the beginning when Patrick wears the hat from the dumb "Good Neighbor Lodge" because it referenced my second least favorite SpongeBob episode (Good Neighbors). I did like the scenes with Slappy though, and Squidina got some good karma at the ending too.
Overall: Uncredible journey gets a 6/10
Host-a-Plooza gets a 7/10
The overall rating is 6.5/10.
SpongeBob SquarePants: Mustard O' Mine/Shopping List (2018)
Surprisingly good
When I watch Ink Lemonade, I thought the rest of this season is going to be awful, but these two are surprisingly good.
Mustard O' Mine was really awesome with a really good story and great jokes and a great example of Squidward torture done right. I'm surprised it had Squidward torture done right because it had the same writer as Ink Lemonade (Kaz). But I think the plot really helped him make this episode good.
Shopping List was also very good because the adventure to get the fake ingredients by Sandy and SpongeBob was very good and I thought it was Out of the Picture done right because Sandy beats up Mr. Krabs at the ending because he sent SpongeBob on a dangerous journey just so he would go shopping and it was very funny too.
I'm surprised it's written by Zeus Cervas. I mean how can Zeus write this? He was the one who wrote many bad episodes of the show. But I again think that the plot really helped him make this episode good. Not as good as Mustard O' Mine but I still like it.
Overall: Mustard O' Mine gets a 10/10
Shopping List gets an 8/10
so the overall rating is 9/10.
SpongeBob SquarePants: Potato Puff/There Will be Grease (2022)
Both of these episodes were awesome!
Potato puff I have to admit that it wouldn't be very good because I thought it would be a ripoff of Mrs. Puff, You're Fired based on the plot, but when the episode premiered, it was nowhere near as similar to Mrs. Puff, You're Fired at all. I thought it was very interesting and super funny. Plus, Mrs. Puff actually cared about SpongeBob a lot and because of that, it was so much better than Demolition Doofus and the Mrs. Puff going to jail gag is back and Mrs. Puff didn't go to jail sense Bumper to Bumper but I'm not sure about The Getaway if she went to jail or not when she begged to go in. Also,I think it felt like a season 2 or season 1 episode I didn't know about.
There Will Be Grease was another great one too. Unlike Potato Puff when it felt like a season 2 or 1 episode, this felt like a season 8 episode I didn't know about but I'm definitely not complaining about that at all. Well in the beginning, I thought it would be a rehash of Greasy Buffoons and Best Frenemies but it's kind of like Greasy Bufoons but it didn't felt like a rehash of Best Frenemies at all. It was funny, interesting, and the "Everything Juice" song is one of the best songs ever in my opinion. The ending reminds me of Patty Hype and Chum Caverns but the whole episode was a lot of fun.
Overall: These two were awesome. 10/10 If you don't like new SpongeBob that much anymore, I would think that you would like these two.
SpongeBob SquarePants: My Leg!/Ink Lemonade (2018)
One of the best followed by one of the worst!
My Leg! Was a very awesome episode about the running gag. It was super funny and the "My leg is in love" song was epic and the ending was very sweet too.
Ink Lemonade however was one of the worst episodes I've ever seen!!! It has nothing but unfair Squidward torture, Jerky Patrick, and gross and exaggerated humor and the ending was one of the worst endings ever!!! The haunted house scene was pretty creative and the fire truck lemonade part was funny, but those parts didn't effect the episode's quality in any way!!!
It's very sad that one of my favorite episodes of all-time (My leg!) was paired up with one of the my least favorite episodes of all-time (Ink Lemonade).
My Leg! Gets a 10/10 (11/10 if I could)
Ink lemonade gets a 2/10
Overall: 6/10.
