Something I really like about this series is its progressive, inclusive, and anti-discriminatory lens. It has always made real, human, and beautiful portrays of marginalized communities. However the representation of Mexico was very stereotypical, with zero research on how Mexico actually looks like, and with even a few offensive comments, like Frinkie's suggestion that all Mexicans are narcs.
Additionally, it made a crucial mistake cause we don't take our husband's last name when we get married. So someone with the name of Maria Ramirez is more likely to be the Dr.'s sister than his wife. So the whole episode does not make sense. :( :( :(
