I was skeptical of this novel and how it would play out. Anne Hathaway did fantastic! I absolutely loved her and Nicholas chemistry was so unmatched! Very well thought out movie and I loved it from start to finish!
Throughout this novel there is progression of romance, and the longing for happiness. Nicholas auditioned to be in a boy band at 14 years old and now at 24 he is still in a boy band living city to city and seeking happiness but coming up short.
Solene is a single mother of a 16 year old daughter who works in an art gallery. Silence is divorced due to having been cheated on and is longing for happiness as well but sees the flaws in men and remembers l to well how she has felt in the past.
When the two meet in an accidental manner at Coachella it is near instant connection and a longing to know more about one another.
