Sailor Moon: A Moon Star is Born (1995)
once you've watched this it's hard to forget
I remember watching this show when i was a kid,and I've recently watched them again on you tube, this brings back memories! the episode starts with an explanation about the moon kingdom and then shifts to 14yr old Serena Campbell being late for school and finding Luna, a cat with a crescent moon on her forehead. She then meets Darien (AKA. Tuxedo Mask)who immediately gives her the classic nickname 'Meatball Head'and soon discovers her destiny as sailor moon( after discovering that Luna the cat can talk.)if you were growing up in the late 90's/early noughties you'll remember the fun and drama this show had. it kind of reminds me of a cartoon version of Beverly hills 90210, but with monsters and cool girly gadgets.it's very addictive and it's hard to forget after watching it.
The Haunted Airman (2006)
An Amazing thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat !
i only came across this on BBC Four one night when i was flicking through the channels on my TV and i was immediately hooked.the story revolves around flight Lt. Toby Jugg(Rob Pattinson)whose lost his ability to walk after an accident with his plane. Thanks to his aunt Toby ends stranded in a hospital where a creepy doctor steals his letters and tries to assume that there's something wrong in Toby's head. as soon as i watched this i was amazed. there was brilliant acting from all the cast and it was one of the BBC's best dramas to date along with Jane Eyre and Tess of the D'Urbervilles. if you are a Robert Pattinson fan i strongly recommend this because it is one his best roles (beside Edward Cullen.
Sailor Moon: A Crystal Clear Destiny (1995)
memorable
I put this as the title because this is how it was.... memorable. This is the episode where Serena and Darien find who their alias'are (Sailor moon and Tuxedo Mask).I recently re-watched it and remembered how scared i felt for their characters when i first watched this at aged 8. i ranked this a 9 because the only thing that put this episode down for me was Zoecite's (i think that's how you spell it) continuous annoying laugh. so other than that it would've been a 10. Also i felt that this 9 was necessary because of Sailor mars' constant dissing of sailor moon, for example when Serena didn't turn up to the scout meeting she blatantly comes out and says 'boy, that Serena's not a sailor scout, she's a failure scout'.but that probably not important.
Stardust (2007)
absolutely brilliant!!!!!!!!!!
i've read the book and seen the film! i compared them and i must say the film is even better! stardust follows the journey of Tristan(tristran in the book)who sets off to recover a fallen star to try and win the heart of Victoria Forester(the girl he wants to marry).after crossing the wall that leads him to the magical land of stronghold tristan finds that the star has turned into a girl (claire danes)only to find that he has to protect her from evil witch michelle phfieffer who wants her heart for beauty and an evil prince who killed his 6 brothers and needs a stone that danes has. the special effects are cool, the cast and supporting cast are brilliant, charlie cox shines as tristan and robert de niro as a cross dressing wannabe gay is absolutely hilarious.although phfieffer's British accent is so convincingly fake,it works nonetheless BUT the hats go off to TAKE THAT who do a really brilliant catchy song for the end credits. STARDUST GETS 10 OUT OF 10
The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles: London, May 1916 (1992)
great episode
i think that this episode was really good , even though i remember just seeing bit and pieces of the series when i was little , this is an episode you'll never forget and you'll possibly get hooked to the series. it begins with Indy and co. travelling to London where he meets Vicky Prentice (Liz Hurley), a Suffrogette. Indy and vicky travel to oxford where they find his old tutor. in the end indy gets on a train and goes to join the belgium army while she stays in London. Flannery and Hurley are brilliant as Indy and Vicky and the scene with the languages is just class so i think this was a great episode for the first series.
Doctor Who: The Family of Blood (2007)
absolutely brilliant
this episode was brilliant in all sorts of ways. i loved how Martha took control of the 'hostage' situation and then threatened the family that's got guts and is quality acting. and as always in my opinion fantastic performance from David Tennant as the doctor. him playing the confused human was really a different turning point. but the scene that got me most was when the doctor and Joan were both holding on to the watch and seeing their future together if he stayed human, i had to hide the tears. thats why i give this episode 10 out of 10 .i also think that most of the credit goes to David Tennant,Freema Agyeman and Jessica Hynes for their roles of the doctor, Martha and Joan that was an entertaining episode.
Doctor Who: Human Nature (2007)
how can anyone think that
who can anybody say bad stuff about this episode? i know it's been a while since Billie piper's character of Rose left the show but people have got to move on. besides out of all of the episodes out of the 3rd series this one has got to be one of my favourites.the fact that The Doctor had to turn human to save him and Martha was heroic in a weird sort of way. David Tennant and Jessica Hynes have great chemistry and Freema Agyeman Played Martha perfectly as the green eyed monster(aka jealousy). The Family of blood and the jackstraws were great villains and to be honest i can't wait until Saturday's next instalment.big thumbs up for David Tennant he still continues to be a brilliant Doctor.keep it up MR. Tennant!
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005)
a complete disaster!!!
Harry Potter and the goblet of fire was a complete failure to me because it was not as faithful to the book as i hoped! sure i understand that the directors would've had to cut some scenes, but to cut characters and important scenes that's something else. i absolutely hated the fact that they cut out Dobby the house elf,the scene where harry, Ron and Hermione met Sirius black in Hogsmeade, the scene where harry gives Fred and George the prize money ( that's gonna be critical for the sixth film if they decide to add it), the scene where harry finds out about Neville longbottom's parents, and most important of all,the scene where Dumbledore and CO force Barty crouch JNR how he got out of prison. these were all crucial scenes what were they thinking? some of the scenes that are actually in there had some mistakes e.g.the yule ball Hermione has a pink dress instead of a blue one.etc. in conclusion this hp film is a disappointment. personally i was very disappointed.
Doctor Who: The Shakespeare Code (2007)
a great episode!!!
The Shakespeare code is a great episode for the third series! it shows Martha's first trip in the Tardis.they go back to 1599 to find Shakespeare being possessed by witches to try and open some kind of portal by using one of his plays that he's just written. This episode is good , it had some goofs like when they were relating to 'back to the future' , but they also had some bits where it also had some seriousness like when the doctor was wondering if rose could figure out the mystery if she was with him.(also when the witch crept up on the doctor in the prison cell it kinda made me jump!!! David Tennant you rock as the doc!!!!!!!
