The movie is different from usual investigation thrillers. The duration was perfect. Since the script is good enough, throughout the movie is engaging. Really like the bgm and cinematography.

All the characters were performed so well. Normally thrillers follow some cliche patterns but this movie I really like. There were no extra gimmicks. Film flows so naturally.

Suresh gopi did a good job. Don't expect the vintage police character of suresh gopi. In this movie he is a retired police officer and hos mannerisms and gestures including voice modulation were good.

Still we get goosebumps when we see sSureshettan on big screen.

After all SG nailed it. He should do back to back movies.

Paappan is a fantastic film. You will surely get a different thriller experience as it has a powerful script.

All the characterizations were perfect especially sureshettan and lady ips officer. Sureshettan really nailed it.

Usually, most of the thrillers follow a pattern with lots of unnecessary characters and incidents which are artificially confusing. But paappan is truly engaging with good connecting points.

In the climax, sureshettan's performance will give you goosebumps.

Joshy sir's direction was amazing also dop. Bgm really rocks with contexts.

My rating is 9.5 out of 10.

I watched it on theatre. One may feel that the story is incomplete but it's quite okay. Fahad acted well but just because somebody acted well in a film doesn't make the entire movie great.

For me it was a below average movie. Throughout the movie we can see a poor writing, script must be solid for a survival thriller.

And those who show goosebumps by watching this movie must watch any fairly rated Hollywood survival thriller, then you will understand how poorly this movie is executed.

It's an universal subject so makers could have made it much better.

That mother character was so good.

Direction is average and cinematography is below average.

Usually theatre watching gives a better experience when it's a survival thriller. But this movie is definitely not a worth watching on theatre.
