First, going through some of the most well-known sights is definitely not road less traveled.
But the main problem is the overly simplified take on the countries and their history. Knowing most of them quite well I could't but chuckle at times what kind of "expertise" the viewers were being fed by Mr. Legg. His use of extremely slow and retarded sounding English must be mentioned too. I think the script and direction takes viewers for granted. It is as if they think we are idiots by how the host acts and speaks. Not to mention the low grade cinematics.
Most of the stuff they do is also quite boring. Simplified - badly written - worse directed. But worst of all is the slow, act of Mr. Leggingsit. It makes me think if he is having a stroke at times. So horrible is the way he presents himself.
All In all a show that is not worth watching. I registered here just to express my deep disappointment. Might as well review other, much better travel series now.
