Elvis (2022)
3/10
Entertaining but EH
15 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Not sure why everyone seems to be so hyped about this, probably crushing on Austin, which is understandable but, he's not Elvis. Not only does he not look like him, he portrayed him as a spoiled, angry brat, always screaming at someone. Elvis was happy and full of life in his young years. Austin was a better actor towards the end of the film but at the beginning it's cringe to think Elvis was like that, I don't buy it. Austin acted Spoiled, effeminate and Elvis was an old-fashioned man with class.

Austin did portray Elvis better towards the end though, but let's give kudos to the young actor who played child Elvis, he did great. At the end of the film, we see the REAL Elvis, the guy with a sense of joy and class that Austin definitely did not portray.

Cobra Kai (2018–2025)
3/10
DISAPPOINTED IN SEASON 5
23 September 2022
As a huge fan of the show, I was mega disappointed with this season. It was far too rushed, felt like this was supposed to be the 7th or 8th season. (Obviously I enjoyed the visuals of this season, but it was RUSHED, it's not a movie it's a series, so story matters not just action.) Terry Silver has surpassed all the characters being the absolute best one, and they end his arc as Sensei far too soon. I see Silver as neither black nor white, but a gray character, and after the 4th season this guy became the lifeblood of the show. He makes such a great Sensei/Mentor/Father Figure and didn't get the screen time he deserved, they added this bogus female Sensei who steered Cobra Kai towards insanity and he let her do it, but yet he's the villain everyone blames? She stole scenes that were utter boring and unnecessary. All I wanted was for Terry Silver to be the main protagonist for at least ONE WHOLE SEASON, as a gray character before his fall. We got it with Johnny, and everyone else but not him, and he has upstaged them all, like why does the focus have to only be on Johnny and Larusso? Like I said, this felt like a season 7 or 8 more, season 5 should have been Silver's season to be the protagonist. He's so good at it. And if Johnny and his gang don't go to jail for trespassing and attacking him, then this show's writers must really hate Silver and love Johnny too much. Silver deserved more screen time and a longer, more detailed arc as Sensei. He's too likable for the writers to suddenly try and make him the villain-villain, the lady was pure insane though.

The Kidnapping (2007 TV Movie)
10/10
Enjoyed This Movie
13 July 2022
It's a shame this was Thomas Ian Griffith's last film in years, he's a great actor and absolutely handsome! Great acting and super good looks, dude was meant to be a star. Years of a lost talent and the best looking guy I've seen in films ever. What are the odds? I'd be in heaven watching all of his movies if he kept with it, too bad. Now I know how sad people must've been in the fictional world where Batman retired in The Dark Knight.

Anyway, I loved this film because it was good, but especially because it had Thomas in it, a great actor and best looking guy (how could he have retired???).
