First Kill (2022)
why are people enemies of fun and entertainment?
Reading some of the reviews here is making me really shocked how mean people are! People on in with an closed mind and are unable to see and accept this show for what it is. This show has its problems? Sure, this is not a 100 million dollars by episode budget, but they do accomplish what they set out to do. They introduce a world and characters to bring you in, and have so much more to develop and explain about the lore. First Kill has funny moments, family drama, fights, romance, friendships and representation! The high reviews are not bots, they are people how understood the show, had fun while watching and felt seen. I get that some people dont really understand that, because they dont have to. But to come here and say this trash without even acknowledging the positive points of FK, it's just unreasonable. Remember the first season of Buffy? Yeah, took them some time to get it right, so give Fk their time as well.
First Kill: First Blood (2022)
I can hear you heartbeat
I was very curious to see how Cal and Jules would act after everything that happened at the party. Jules poor thing will have to deal with the aftermath of lying, Cal has to realize real fast the consequences of finding out Jules secret and the fact she actually likes this girl more than she thinks. Plus Elinor as always, a boss!!
First Kill: First Fight (2022)
Fights, fights and angst
Jules is going through it! Elinor knows what's up, and I think she is trying to help, but she doesn't go the right way. Just sisters being sisters. Cal and the Burns are all business, and Cal sees how serious things are getting and I think she's so conflicted with everything. It's definitely not easy trying to realize where do you fit in with all of the families expectations.
First Kill: First Date (2022)
Juliette gets things done!
The fallout of the hunters attack gets everyone in really complicated situation, but juliette really surprised me in her ability to risk it all to save and protect the ones she loves. Unfortunately for her family they were not it, but they still managed to survive it all, barely. The Burns really went all out and things were not as easy as they thought.
First Kill: First Love (2022)
Romeo and Juliette who??!
I mean?! Romance romance, then zombie and fighting!! This episode really shows us them falling more and more in love, getting to know each other and moving from just a crush to something more. Cal always so damn cool and ready to get things done! Elinor always takes over everything! When she shows up, you can't help but to pay attention and cheer for her.
First Kill: First Severing (2022)
Probably my favorite episode!
This episode really takes us on a ride!! The families trying to keep the girls apart as best as they can, but their love and connection is just too great! Seeing Jules trying to work on her vampire side with the help of Elinor was a highlight, however what to say about Jules showing up at Cals room?!! I mean, that moment alone took the cake.
First Kill: First Goodbye (2022)
Just a good mix, it has it all!
If there's one thing I'm really enjoying about first kill is the fact how they mix all emotions in one episode. It has so many funny moments mixed with some pretty emotional ones. Then things start to get really intense. Cal and julliette's love it's just so great, to watch them fall more and more in love is so sweet.
First Kill: First Betrayal (2022)
Who doesn't love a good plot twist!?
The.the build up to get to this finale was truly great, I was sure I knew how things would unfold and end, but I was ready for how everything went down. Definitely worth it.
First Kill: First Kiss (2022)
hooked from the start!
I've always been a big vampire fan, buffy still is one of my favourite shows of mine. So after I saw people talking about this show I thought I would give it a try. I loved from the start, I loved how they did something different with these legacy vampires and how the family of hunters trained and prepared for the killings. Jules and Cal are great and you really see the pull they have right from the first gaze. You just want to know more and keep on watching to see how everything unfolds.
