Cobweb (2023)
Good beginning, nonsensical ending.
This movie was not terrible however I just found the plot twist to be poorly executed and not believable. At first, my husband and I thought it was a demon telling the boy she was his sister to deceive him... And that would have probably been more logical than some superhuman sister that can walk on ceilings and is strong enough to rip people in half.. idk.. I've seen worse I guess. It kept me entertained.. and I liked the actors who played the parents in other projects and the little boy was believable. It did remind me of "Barbarian" but I do feel like that is being too nice. I think it deserves its 50-60 rating.
Fresh (2022)
Nothing I've ever seen before!
To the people saying this doesn't have comedy... I totally laughed out loud more than once. (Maybe that says something about myself) I thought it was well acted and I thought they ended it well. I knew the wife was gonna be on his team, so I called that. But I was starting to worry that Noa wasn't faking it towards the end. Sebastian Stan did awesome, and makes you totally wonder if there are actual people like that out in this world somewhere. The black friend probably totally regretted worrying about her friend so much after she found herself in the same situation. A great addition to Horror! I would recommend.
Imaginary Friend (2012)
Predictable Revenge..
I like that the husband got what was coming to him! I didn't see the twist that the girl was real but after that I knew that they had joined forces and was messing with the husband. It was predictable after that for sure. But it was worth a one time watch! I've definetly seen worse. The actress that plays Emma is super pretty but I feel like it was overacting after she "killed" the imaginary friend. I don't think that the cops would realistically believe someone who regularly has episodes to say her husband is the crazy one now but I suppose it helped him finally tell her the truth. My husband and I pretty much called every scene.
