Extra serving of drama
21 October 2022
It's a great companion to the main series as it gives you inside scoop of what's been happening per episode. It also delivers good drama that only happens in Untucked.

Season one had some memorable Untucked moments like the hot exchange between two queens from their previous drama outside the show, breakdown of one queen after seeing a picture of a love one flashed by the production, breakdown of another queen after the harsh critique of one judge hit her hard, and much more. It also gave us some quotable quotes, from "drag is not sensitive, you're insensitive" to the "gravity inside the popcorn". Intrigued?

It's quite entertaining and a must see if you can't get enough of Drag Race Philippines.

Drag Race Philippines: Pop Off Ate! (2022)

Best episode so far
7 September 2022
The episode gives you an aftertaste that will last a long time... and that aftertaste is a good thing, believe me.

Mini-challenge was shady as hell yet entertaining. It gives you each Queens' perspective of each other at that time.

The Maxi-challenge was the highlight of the episode. It shows you how great these Queens are. All the Queens simply shined in the girl group challenge. The song "Pop Off Ate" is really a bop the first time you hear it, and all the Queens' verses were amazing. Ultimately, the winning group (and the winning queen) deserved it.

Runway category was interesting and showed creativity from most queens. The judges chose the right winning group, the right winner and bottom 2. Overall, judging was on point.

This episode is a must watch.

Entertaining with a big "BUT"...
7 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The Mini-challenge was totally fun and campy. All the queens were hilarious with their "kid" get-ups plus Lady Morgana looking more of an aunt. It was just a totally good time to watch... until it hit a bit of sour taste when the Maxi Challenge started.

Assigning specific OPM Divas to the queens were reminiscent of the same Diva challenge in RPDR All-Stars 3 (when Thorgy felt already defeated just after being given to play Stevie Nicks' part... and eventually led to her elimination). That alone did not sit well.

It feels like it favored too much to Precious winning the challenge as she is known to impersonate Regine in her gigs. The judging was kind of a cringe especially towards Brigiding and Minty.

Bottom two was understandable but personally I'd rather choose someone else to replace Turing.

Despite all of that roughness, it's still a solid episode (plus the fact that it's hard to follow-up the great Episode 3. That song "Pop Off Ate" is still playing in my head, for goodness sake.)
