6 January 2018
A wonderful movie for the whole family with lots of humor and stunning action from Marsupilami. Alen Chabat (Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatre-RRRrrrr!!!) made a miracle film with Jamel Debbouze in a hilarious role. Fred Testot is wonderful as Hermoso and one of my favorite scene Lambert Wilson as Celine Dion biggest fan ever sing "I'm Alive" back soundtrack from the song. A Must-See Movie for whole family!! Marsupilami Rocks!!! Congratulations to the creators of the movie.

The Best Political Greek Movie Ever Made!!
21 June 2012
Warning: Spoilers
I watched this movie in DVD many years later than it released in Videotape but I LOVED IT FROM THE FIRST BEGINNING! "Smiley Afternoon" is primarily a political film. As the main protagonists, who plays with great sensitivity Kourkoulos Nickos, is a rising, with zest and fist, a politician who not only faces problems personally, but professionally. His political opponents are constantly put to trip, the most important of them return, and his apology for his roots. His father was a partner of the German Occupation and the Greek short memory as usual, now suddenly works, and a newly minted politician and bold Venieris Dimitris wants to bring fundamental change to the system to reverse the data, and go ahead to the country. Alas! The script worked within a person-a symbol of journalism and writing at the time, Freddy Germanos, who had previously staged in the theater and had a book published as a novel. Andreas Thomopoulos, genuine child of the New Greek Cinema, with great success of the "Easy Road" with Pavlos Sidiropoulos, just a few months ago, he directed yet another box office success of 1979. Nikos Kourkoulos and Betty Livanos wonderful play, the first with the usual exaggeration of the second and advanced to the liveliness of Beauty, still under the light, but release in the videotape, photograph Aris Stavrou. Of course, it remains memorable and music from Chatzinasios."Smiling Evening" remains to this day, despite the outdated look of a diamond, so anyway, undervalued Greek political cinema!

Funny but not as Original!!
14 October 2011
Not as good as the first Johnny English movie but still funny. Rowan Atkinson as English is great, also Hot Actress Rosamunde Pike from Die Another Day and Dominic West known from Chicago and 300 hits. Another great moment is when Rowan Atkinson met Tim McInnerny from Blackadder series. But still the first one had a great actors like John Malkovich, Tim Pigott-Smith and Kevin McNally. Why Ben Miller(Bough)wasn't in the second movie? The new agent who helps Johnny English is a terrible imitation of Chris Tucker from great Rush Hour movies. Maybe in a third sequel Bough comes back and it will be more hilarious... we all hope that!!

A great adaptation of the play by Al.Sakellarios & Ch.Giannakopoulos
15 March 2009
A great adaptation of the play by Al.Sakellarios & Ch.Giannakopoulos. Actors Petros Filippidis,Konstadinos Apostolakis, Antonis Antoniou, Tasos Kostis, Hristos Simardanis and young Thanasis Tsaltabasis with great actresses Themis Bazaka,Iro Mane and Nena Menti create a new style of 21st Century in this play that touch your hearts with their playing. Well done, to all!! And of course, to the director Nikos Zapatinas(To Fili tis Zois,Enas & Enas, Efapax)A truly classic remake for the fans of Petros Filippidis...The old fashion Greek Cinema comebacks in our days. Totally funny!...The script of this remake will enjoyed all the ages of people because it has a lot of authentic dialogues from the original and some fresh ideas also.Well done to writer Katia Kissonergi. Alekos Sakellarios and Christos Giannakopoulos maybe was proud if they watch this new remake of their theatrical play.50 years later, he remains uncaught truly!
